I take it kyogos not doing his dance to say goodbye? Will he be branded a rat? I doubt it lol. I'm fine with it btw. The bhoy wanted the move. No hard feelings. Just curious to see if he'll get the Tierney/ Rodgers/ Ange treatment.

He won’t, he’s one of the most protected Celtic players ever for whatever reason.
I’ve seen people branding him the best striker since Larsson n stuff like that. It’s embarrassing to put his name in the same Vain as even Scott McDonald mate.

I will remember Kyogo for scoring 7 Derby goals in the 2023 Calendar Year.
That was phenomenal especially with him scoring into every goals at Celtic Park, Ibrox and Hampden Park.
I still believe his best Celtic years were behind him and it was good business from Celtic.
We might be lucky to replace Kyogo with a similar and younger version of himself, when he was banging the goals in.

The same fans that burned brendans book etc should be calling kyogo a rat, there was a few posters on this forum that felt that way so it will be interesting to hear their take on it.
For me it's part of the game players and managers come and go and that's it.
{Ed007's Note - Wait until CCV leaves in the summer....

CCV moving is ine inevitable and we will earn a tidy sum for him, it's same with hetate, maeda and Khun, won't keep them around forever, it's our recent purchases that are failing to live up to the hype and that's a worry from the recruitment side.

We're a selling club, we have to be given the league we play in and the disparity in revenue our league attracts compared to the 'big leagues' around Europe.
Whereas this model doesn't work every time, it has served the club well in recent years given the finances and trophies we have acquired.
The player recruitment side is paramount to this and, as yet, I'm still not convinced it's anywhere near to being as good as it could be.
Perhaps this is the area the club should be investing in.

Wouldn't be all that suprised or disappointed if he did ed007. I don't think he's as good as some fans make out.
{Ed007's Note - I'd agree with that DC ??

It’s a surprise that our star players stay as long as they do . They must know that by just playing for Celtic they are unpopular with the MSSM and Scottish Football officials, just like the old days in West of Scotland and occ 6 where Nationalists and Catholics missed out because of discrimination in jobs and Housing .
Our players are not stupid, domestic game after game referees are quicker to award frees against Celtic than they are against our opponents for same incidents . Celtic goals scored face longer scrutiny than goals scored against us Wiithout a doubt the only thing that encourages players c& managers to stay as long as they do, is the wonderful support from almost our entire supporters . There are few stadiums in Europe who have well in excess of 50,00O supporting their heroes at home games . The noise is inspirational and goes along way to overturn they who don’t want us to succeed.
