Can't believe people are now complaining about the price of Idah after everyone was moaning that we hadn't brought anyone in.
Also I can't see the boy spending much time on the bench after we spent £8.5m on him.

I am happy with the signing but think we overpaid for him. I reckon we could have got someone better for that money and will find it hard to recoup that money, unless he plays a vital role in the coming years and gets us into the CL.

I’ll be happy to see Adam Idah return as his impact last season was arguably the difference between winning a double and winning nothing. Could we have got better for the same fee? Perhaps. But there is no risk in his signing he’s proved his worth plus while he’s late arriving he knows the players, manager and system.
The board has spent whatever it is we’ve spent on Idah because their is no recruitment structure or strategy at the club and Brendan Rodgers has assumed that responsibility after the boards abject failures in previous 3-4 transfer windows.
He’s calling the shots and thank goodness for that but the downside is Brendan Rodgers is shopping in the only market he knows where overinflated prices are paid for overrated players.

Norwich seem to have got the upper hand both in the price and 15% of any future transfer. BR wanted Idah and no-one else by what I hear and it will either push Kyogo on to compete or out the door as he may see one last move at this time in his career is the best option?
Whatever the case, I hope this is not our final addition in this window, as I am convinced MOR will be sold and there are still positions that need improvement. I'm braced for final-day loans.

You couldn't make it up Norwich have drove a hard bargain and finally we get our man and some are moaning. we've signed a full international player who knows the club and how we play who also seems to gave a k ack of scoring in big games iam delighted with this signing. maybe if the moaners factor in the haksa oh and lawell money in we've got him for nothing. jeez ??.

If he brings us league titles and cups a don't care what he cost or make any big profit when he leaves. let's enjoy the success hopefully he will help to bring in nxt 5 yrs.

They wanted over 10 million, hence the Vernon's deal fell through.
Some people are never happy, on one hand they say just pay the money they are asking, our board are terrble, tight fisted, then we pay over what some feel he is worth and it's we paid too much, our board have no plan, no idea, waste of money.
They said the same with Eddie and how did that work out?

Celtic fans: please spend some money.
Celtic: 9.5m?
Celtic fans: moan, moan, moan.

£8.5M for a player who arguably won us the league last year? Sack the board. Where's my pitchfork?

And the cup if he doesn't follow the ball in we're into extra time and who knows. great signing.

I find the argument we paid too much for Idah amusing.
Can I just remind some, that he is an international who won't need time to re-adjust to our style of play and has huge potential.
Also I will remind some that spurs paid 40 million for an 18 year old from Leeds, who played 8 times last season, what we paid is the price of players in that league.

Welcome to the real world.
Celtic received good transfer fees for both Edouard and Ajer with only 10 months left on their contracts, which helped Ange rebuild.
Norwich had Idah on a lengthy contract and they deserved top dollar.

Totally agree guys, great signing and even big Sutton thinks it's a good deal for all.

Not sure what you get for that sort of money these days. Glad the deal is finally done.

Miovski was cheaper and is a better player.
