Fairly new to this guys.
Would love to have a season ticket but due to my commitments to coaching my sons youth team i cant.
Any way love the site and the banter and read it daily.
Whats the chances now we have KT at cb we could bring his brother in for our midfield.
Not needed at current club chance to face them to prove point? Could it happen?

but same as my comments about JMcC - why would MC loan him to us - and we couldn't afford to buy him outright.
he'd be best staying a year, wind down his contract and we'd covert the fee we'd avoid into wages - but he would be another year older.

Excited for today to see who we can bring in.
We know what we need to do to get past the next qualifying stage so no excuses time to deliver. Get couple players in that can make a difference and be positive and make the group stages a reality.
A good solid CB and I feel a solid CM ( govner type) required b4 11pm tonight.
Any hints on who?

Hoping to see St. Juste coming in tonight but wouldn't be surprised to see Mulgrew resign, if Chico ends up only guy in after deadline be really disappointed but not surprised but hey maybe we'll bring in 3 players then I will be really surprised.

Totally agree mate I wouldn't have minded Duffy or Toure coming in also but again if it's just a matter of them both making they're minds up I would have moved on to other target's, same way Sinclair heard the lad does want a come but if he wants it that bad I was expecting him to hand in transfer request I know that always doesn't work but he surely must feel that Villa are pricing him out a move to work way he's mentor again, just disappointed with lack of signings cause tbh Iam hearing people saying we only need 4 players I was honestly looking at least 6 or 7 coming in new gk, cb possibly 2, rb, a winger, no nonsense tackling cm who can also pass and drive with ball and another striker with a bit European experience, iam I asking too much lol again Iam not surprised but disappointed.

Imo this has to be the least transfer gossip I've seen in a long time and very worrying.
There has to be money to spend and wages to be used.
High calibre CB a must.
Although we have plenty players in midfield we need a govener in there to make it tick.
A top keeper required as well.
I reckon with reported figure of 15 million to spend this should be possible and done asap.
I would like to hear views on this and possibly players you would like for the above positions.

Its the soft centre to the team that is my worry. If we are to play Astana next round they will stroll right through there home leg of this tie if no signings are brought in
There is major talent to be had in Holland, Denmark and countries like this but every one of the 'linked targets' are based in the over priced English leagues.

CB I agree with need a right back and a play maker a good GK would be nice but I think you have to get priorities right I know that people say it takes time to bring in new players I get that but with Celtic it seems to take twice as long or as a lot are saying its more about wait and see first then the original target gets snapped up and we are on to plan D as B and C have gone to thought that would change with BR but doesn't seem like that now.

The ego of the coaches to win.
When i 1st started getting beat everyweek but stick by it and every1 involved and progressed as a team. We now hold our own with some good passing play.
They have to be allowed to make errors only way they will learn.

Hi,
I do coaching for a 2006 age group. a lot of coaches are out for the result and not the development of the player. Yes its nice to win but young players are suffering to fill the ego of the coaches.
There is some good young talent in our leagues but seems like the pro vlubs don't have the scouts these days to pick these boys up and develope them into top international standard players.
I am constantly trying to play/ build from the back and take a great pride in working with the lads to help develope there game.
