Maybe that young guy, is his name Scott Robinson?, could do something in midfield, I thought he was quite impressive when he got a chance a while ago.

I think the main reason for the performance tonight was because of the absence of our best centre back partnership, CCV and Starfeld, but the main reason for the result tonight was because Harte was playing instead of Siegrist, Siegrist is a much better shot stopper than Harte, a much better goalie, Harte is the number one because of his history and his reputation, and because of the ridiculous legend that he won us the league last year, that seems to be building up.

Hart is going through a poor speel atm he's still my most important signing of last year.

It was Big Ange that won us the league last season and Joe Hart helped big time.
The season before, Celtic tried 3 different keepers and none were good enough.
Bain and Hazard save rate ratios were in the 60s.
Barkas save rate ratio was only about 54%.
Joe Hart was a massive upgrade and he had over 70% save rate ratio last season and Siegrist also had over 70%.
I admit, the pressure is now on Joe, with a good keeper like Siegrist waiting for his big chance.
Personally, I would give Hart more time.

The difference between our run in Europe last year and The rangers run was that they had McGregor in goals and we had Harte, McGregor saved them from getting thrashed on several occasions by making 'impossible'saves when his defence let him down, Harte doesn't make those kind of saves anymore, and no one blames him, because his defence let him down.

Siegrist needs to be given a run in goals, or our season is over.

Bit over the top? . Only positive today was 3 points and blowing off some cobwebs. Performances need to improve, passing at times is woeful and lots of our problem are self inflicted. Also, need to get clinical. The amount of wasted chances are becoming ridiculous. On the plus side we know what we’re capable of when we do click.

Utterly Pisa poor. Passing terrible and missing too many chances again. Only good thing was 3 points and our defending set pieces again embarrassing.

We really miss CCV and starman. Welsh has still a lot to learn. He gave ball away a lot today as did Taylor which is unusual for him. We also need GG on field as he guarantees us goals. Still 3 points. We cannot play like that against RB.

It was certainly made much more difficult by our own errors and bad decisions, because before the own goal, we were very comfortable. Another concern for me is the amount of squandered chances week after week when we ARE playing well and creating plenty, because as seen today it can give even a completely over-run opponent a sniff of getting a result - especially when decisions go against us, or we start to have a sluggish spell.
It's hard to imagine this is only our second win in the last five games, after the sensational start we had to the season and shows how much hard work is needed and what players need to step it. Losing CCV has been a big loss, but.

Your the statistics guy, Buzz, maybe you could do some statistics on how many goals Joe has cost us, by staying on his line, by not coming for crosses, by flaffing about at passing the ball out, by being statuesque instead of being a shot stopper, All I am saying, what's the point of having your best goalkeeper sitting on the bench, give Siegrist a chance to prove he is the goal keeper, I think he is.

Buzz, I think, the thing about Barkas, was he had terrible defenders in front of him, I think he was shell shocked, I mean when he was in Greece he was a half decent goalie, but he comes here and he gets no protection and the shots are flying in, his confidence evaporates, next season Harte comes in but he has a decent defence in front of him, and he makes a few saves, and he brings stability because he has confidence in his centre backs, a luxury that Barkas was never afforded, you think Harte won us the league, well I think it was more down to CCV and Starfeld, like I say, you are the statistics man, maybe you could do some research on how many saves Joe Harte actually, last season, in comparison to other goalies, I am talking about games we were under the cosh, losing games, i. e. European games, all I am saying is I think that Siegrist is a much better goalie than Joe Harte.

So Buzz, so if I criticise Joe Harte, that makes me a sevco supporter, well that's wrong for a start, I agree Harte is a decent keeper, and he brings a lot to the team, but I think Siegrist is a better keeper, everybody was just glad to get Harte in, because after Barkas, at least we had a keeper, who actually made a few saves, and who was better than Bain, but I think everyone seems to give Harte too much leeway, especially in European games, he hardly ever makes 'impossible' saves the kind of which Craig Gordon used to make, in euro games, if a defender makes a mistake that leads to a goal, the defender rightly gets criticised but nothing is said about Joe standing there like a statue, that's why I think Siegrist should get a chance.

Why did Hart fall backwards into the net instead of rushing out to attack the ball?
