Apparently, we have improved our bid for Toney, if this is true and accepted does anyone else think we would then sell Eddy, to cover outlay in this window and give PL some more pocket money.

I think if we sign toney along with ajeti then I think PL will wait and see how they two are playing and if everything is going well then we will sell eddy in October before the window shuts but if its not I think we will keep till the summer.

Can't see us going in for him when we've just signed ajeti, the only way I can see us signing another striker is if edouard is sold first.

There seemed to be a consensus that Eddy would be happy to stay for another season, although the window still has two months or so left. If it's true - and that's a big if - it could be in preparation of an impending huge bid for Eddy and/ or a farewell to LG?
The club has a habit of big sales in summer windows so unfortunately that would look ominous for our talismanic striker, if we sign Toney?

Rumours are that Griff will be loaned out so a fourth striker is required. Plus a different type to what we have is required based on the Killie game.

Hope the deal for Laxalt goes through, not seen much of him since last World Cup where he was a standout in the Uruguay team. Good luck to Jack Aitchison as well, decent young player.

Disappointed in Europe yet again. Can't really expect to win at this level without a striker. Midfielders playing up front is not the answer, strikers paid to score goals, it's natural, midfielders paid to create chances and chip in with the odd goal, if NL can't see this then he shouldn't be in charge.

Another shocking performance in Europe. How can he think it's ok to play no striker but yet have 2 costing 8m on the bench. It seems like he trying to get players in regardless of where they play. Christie up front! Why so he can play nitcham too in midfield. This has now put to bed and chance of players coming in. Have to say so far l am not 100% gone on the keeper. Looked shakey at times for me. Plus either someone teach Taylor how to cross a Ball or get someone in place if him.

To put out a side with no striker in a one off game in Europe is either total stupidity or total arrogance. If Lennon doesn't walk after that himself then l don't know.
