Granted I don't know a lot about the lad but did not seem that appealing from what I have seen. Other than crossing a ball into the box for a header at the Euros what has he actually done? Reckon there is better out there.

Doesn't seem as thought BR's tactics involve getting to the by line and whipping crosses in anyway although i wish it was love seeing a nice cross coming in and someone like larsson or sutton who were both excellent headers getting a headed goal the one larsson scored for sweden at the world cup 2010 was amazing.

Both to old and Sutton would stop to tell us it was all R D's fault last season and the players fault this season . Then he would continue to hand the ball until he was sent off.

what you on about old bhoy I was reminiscing not wanting them signed up I meant I would like a player with their heading ability and wingers whipping crosses into them to score headers not enough of that from Celtic for me also a good free kick taker would be useful too.

Has any1 else noticed whenever ask about transfer BR frequently says we are looking to add 1 or 2! IMO we need 4 or 5 ( and that's still with quality over quantity in mind) and still need to lose bout 10!. just suhin av noticed watching few interviews recently!

I think he was banking on NB and SJ offers coming in so he had funds. Valuations haven't been met. Could of all been a big con and some great spin to sell the season books. The sales have covered BR's wages and some so there isn't any excuse for spending now.

Strictly speaking we could never have enough top class new talent .
We have to be honest and settle for 2-4 new talent at the most every window . Recent Windows we signed players maybe for the sake of signing . We didn't improve with the bigger numbers.

These players constantly bottle it in big matches, they have continually under performed for the last couple of seasons. Whether it's Sevco in the cup or Ross County in the league cup, they seem totally unable to give a performance in a big match.
Rodgers will need to get his finger out and start to revamp this team, too many of them are not good enough.
It's embarrassing enough that we need a second leg to try and rescue a tie against a part time team, but this is what we've sunk to. If Rodgers was in any doubt about the size of his task in rebuilding our team, then hopefully tonight's humiliation will show him the size of the task facing him.
