Deadline to renew season ticket is Friday.

I hope they don't sell out, as that would send a powerful message to Desmond and the board.

Agree5 Disagree0

I was expecting the ticket office to be busier today with only a couple of days remaining.

Do you think that is why the club put out a reminder buzz?

Ffs how long will you go on about the board…yeah its frustrating but get behind the team instead of constant bitching.

There’s real conflict of opinion on this I feel,
The United one is sending a message, wanting change etc etc
But most season Tik holders still want there seat, they still want to watch there team, me win lose or draw I want to go watch my team, the disappointment of losing or being bad is just as much part of football as winning, it’s crap no one denies it, it ingulfs your opinion to moan about the club etc if things aren’t great, but surely “not wanting them to sell out”is a bit like wanting the team to lose, the fact is the only people affected by not renewing is the ones losing there seat as there thousands like me who juts want to support Celtic ready to take the seat,

I previously heard someone say that people like me are part of the problem and couldn’t disagree more, club isn’t run well with certain people in place that aren’t good at job, that should be same as a manager or player and those people replaced ( that for me is the clubs main failing alongside a bit of a outdated way of working with no vision ) however the club also is one of the best run clubs worldwide in an industry that’s massively fragile, the positive aspects of how the club performs is all too easily ignored,
As a fan base we are the constant and consistent, the players and staff need the fans, all too obvious in this past season, fans I agree need to keep pressure on for change but not as teams expense, that disconnect can’t happen again, balls in both courts, we desperately need club to react this year, fans need to accept sweeping changes, ownership changes are pie in the sky and back the team,

Facts - br should have qualified for cl last year (on him) -we bought guff at inflated prices ( over prepared options for cl) mon still brought in guff over domestic options in Jan (mistake) , br gaslit us into believing we where rotten (mon proved otherwise ) -Nancy was a club disaster (Nicholson should go for that alone) - if wasn’t for Nancy we would have achieved treble, won league with games to spare,

There was a crisis created last year not one in reality, we all played our part in it’s creation and my point is (long winded) let’s not create another before new season starts

Joe your opinion people know, but it’s been overkill, and for someone self confessed who doesn’t even watch the team people will kick back.

I can remember there being an extended deadline before but maybe that was the season after Covid.

I thought there would be an extension this season but apparently there will not be after the deadline tomorrow.

I opted out of both home ticket schemes but I was surprised that loads of fans in front of me were opting in to the home ticket scheme.

I’ve bought my kids their season tickets ( both adult tickets now ) and their home shirts for next season but I’ve not bought as much as a pie for myself since the not a penny more campaign started last year.

I must have missed something cause we have been rotten under MON, just rotten with good results.

Major changes are needed at every level and especially with the squad.

We will find out over the next 2 months if any lessons have been learned.

It is a personal choice jaa and I don't have an issue with those who renew as I understand their feelings for the club and I hope you understand how hard it was to remove myself from the club I have loved and supported for as long as I can remember.

I will continue to beat the drum for the removal of the Desmond's and will not return while that cancer remains at our club. If I can't remove them, I certainly won't be giving them any money or support.

Your not supporting them Joe your supporting the team.

28 May 2026 22:56:06
That's not how I see it. The way I see it, is they need removed from the club and the only way we can get them out is if we withold finances and support and exert as much pressure as possible.
