ED007 is there anything in these latest stories about SPFL launching investigations into two Celtic games.

{Ed007's Note - The following matches are being investigated under SPFL Rules H36 and H37:

Inverness Caledonian Thistle v Hamilton Academical

Motherwell v Celtic

Hamilton Academical v Clyde

Celtic v Heart of Midlothian

Stenhousemuir v Alloa Athletic

The SPFL Rules H36 & H37:

H36 The home club in any official batch must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, H36.1 good order and security; H36.2 that policies and procedures have been adopted and are implemented to prevent incidents of unacceptable conduct; and H36.3 that any incidents of unacceptable conduct are effectively dealt with, all at its stadium on the occasion of an official match.

H37 Each Club must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that: H37.1 its Players, officials, supporters and any person exercising a function for or connected with the club do not engage in unacceptable conduct at a stadium on the occasion of an official match; H37.2 it identifies any of its supporters who engage in unacceptable conduct at an official match; and H37.3 it takes proportionate disciplinary measures in respect of supporters so identified in terms of Rule H37.2.

I would argue that no sanctions can be applied. The framework going forward will set the precedent imo. To implement any punishment especially to us would open them up to multiple legal challenges. There are many more televised evidence that can be produced to validate previous incidentsnot addressed.

It can only be a line in the sand moment to pacify the baying mob. Anything else a decent legal mind could arsewipe them. Then again its our board so probably bend over and blame the same support who dragged them to the title.

I don't know any club supporters that haven't come on to the pitch after winning the league at home. What some people did going up to Hearts players and I presume goading them wasn't cool IMO and those fans should be delt with.

But I can't understand why the SFA aren't looking at Hearts and all the statements they are or have come out with surely they are bringing the game into disrepute?

{Ed007's Note - It's nothing to do with any of that, it's just standard disciplinary hearings/charges for fans going onto the pitch, Motherwell as the home team will face a fine probably too.}
