I hope Engels doesn’t spit his dummy out which will make it a worse decision not to accept up to £25M for him.
Engels should use it as a huge compliment and go out and play to his full potential for the remainder of this season.

These young boys were probably persuaded to join us in the hope of going on to 1 of the bigger leagues and to get an offer of more than double what was paid gor him and refused a think he has every right no to b happy that his dream could be jeopardised, its not his fault that the board are inept in what they do ir not spending and having replacements in place.

The exact same situation was probably handed to Maeda when he signed and he has handled his "disappointment" well by showing up and performing for his team. Engles with any hope shows up for the rest of the season.

Spot on Troy, It may all be media bollocks but the reality is we are a stepping stone with a pathway to the bigger leagues. Having said that Engles came from a bigger league anyway. But most players will want to play in the pub league if a team comes calling, No matter where they're situated in the table.
The 3rd bid did come a bit late for us to act on but all this talk of our interest in Silas Andersen why not just get him in and sell Engles. Too late to do anything now other than keep another unhappy player, if he really is unhappy that is.

I'm hoping Engels uses it to fuel the fire and to prove he's a higher value player than £20M.
At only he's 22 yrs of age, he's still in 3 competitions this season for Celtic, and he wants to be on that plane with his countrymen going to the World Cup, the biggest stage of all.
