Hi ed. Any truth to the Iheanacho stories? Are we in talks with him? Was decent under Rodgers and I think he'd do well for us.

Rodgers is far from being innocent as far as the state of the team BUT I would not blame him if he did walk because of what seems like the lack of ambition from the Celtic board. I don't know any Celtic supporter that hasn't identified the key areas we NEEDED to address when the window opened but they were never addressed, I don't think you can blame Rodgers for that.

If it doesn't happen today it probably won't happen. As I believe today is the deadline for announcing squad for Europe. Unless I'm mistaken?

If Roger’s was the one who asked for Idah to be bought for the reported 9m and he signed Engels (I think) then I think there can be some weight behind the “ we don’t trust the manager with signing big players” because they 2 have not even been close to value. Idah scored a few important goals but couldn’t rise to his value over the whole story. Engels - looks uninterested and also not the wonder kid we were expecting. Or maybe Roger’s can’t get him playing to that. Either way I am firmly blaming Brendan for the situation we find ourselves in.

The International Break has come at a very convenient time for the guilty parties to escape the backlash but not the embarrassment.
No-one would blame Rodgers if he did walk away but would that mean he forfeits any contract pay off and compensation?
I said earlier that the repercussions of the animosity between Board and manager and the dire 'window' would probably filter down to the players and could ruin the season. There can't be a lot of decent managerial candidates available, so would we do a Leicester?
