Brendan confirms kwon is going palma also n loan and there's definite interest in yang, more dosh in the coffers.

More dosh that will sit in the bank doing nothing for the squad. Brendan needs to put more pressure on the board or we will have no chance of CL this year.

Oh give it a rest with the not spending money rubbish.
Name me 1 transfer window in the last 10 years outwith the Covid season that we didn't spend money.
Also name me one player that has left this season that either didn't want to leave or was/ is nowhere near good enough for the team.
Brendan has said numerous times that the squad was to bloated, we need to get rid of all the players that are or will not contribute anything and bring in a couple first team ready players.
I would rather get rid of 4 or 5 players who aren't contributing anything and picking up a wage and sign 1 or 2 players that will make a difference and then use our own youngsters to fill the squad.

What is the last date that a player can be registered for the qualifying round, that we enter?
{Ed007's Note - Squads must be in by 14th August 2025 (24:00 CET 23:00 BST) for matches in the play-offs.}

I'm no fan of the Board. Their lack of dialogue and transparency (acknowledging some things need to remain in house) makes me distrustful of them. All that said, and taking a kinda birds eye view, all things can be traced back to us being a big fish in a small pond. If we're dependant on CL money to keep us 'rich', given the ebb and flow of football means we won't qualify for the CL every year, then tbh, it's hand to mouth stuff. Most of us I guess put money aside for a rainy day or unexpected bills. I'd expect the Board, and I think they are, to be conservative with their spending. On a positive note, the Board should be exploring potentially new income streams. With some fresh innovative thinking, there must be opportunities.

Problem with using youngsters to fill the squad is that the manager doesn't think many of them are up to it or we'd be seeing more of them. The transfer window, at the moment, is looking like many others in the past, tragic!

Been hearing the same pish for over 20 years. The fact is that this board have lost this club an absolute fortune in what should be a straightforward cash revenue stream by not preparing for CL qualifiers. I know that nothing is guaranteed in football, but if you don’t even make the effort to give yourself the best chance what’s the point. Most transfer windows are like Groundhog Day with too many on our board just happy to continue to piddle in the same puddle.
Until we get some fresh blood and some modern thinking at the top off our club, instead of the insulated nepotism, nothing will ever change.

Easy answer every season. We spend but not more than we take in. So we don't spend anything on transfers unless it's been drawn in on out goings.
Squad was bloated because Lawell jnr gave his boy the job as our main scout. You just keep happy clapping.

Why should we have transparency and dialogue from the Board during the transfer windows. Is it to allow our knowledgeable supporters a chance to ridicule the Board’s interest in specific players even earlier .
Some Celtic fans seem to forget that it’s only Boards of clubs like Rangers 2012 who are in dire straits that are very transparent.
