Whose fault is it that we did not have a first choice GK?

Whose fault is it that we had to play an unfit CCV?

Whose fault is it that we had to pick between scales and trusty, both of whom are not capable at this level and have plenty of mistakes in them?

Whose fault is it that we had to pick between Ralston and an inexperienced Donovan?

Whose fault is it that we had no cover for a KT who is unable to play 90 minutes?

Whose fault is it that we have no fight or physicality in midfield?

Whose fault is it we signed an unfit RW only days before these qualifiers, so had no chance to get fit and ready?

Whose fault is it we have no one else that can play the hold up role up front?

Whose fault is it that our bench was devoid of suitable replacements?

Whose fault was it that Engels was sold right before the qualifiers and no replacement brought in?

Whose fault was it that hatate was not sold last summer and has been picking up a wage for doing nothing since?

Whose fault is it that once again we go into the CL qualifiers with glaring deficiencies in the team?

Great points Joe and its all on suits, AGAIN, they were too busy patting themselves on the back for a decent start to the season and some promising signings whilst again missing the glaring deficiencies in the team and lack of cover in vital areas, no lb and as we all know strugglesxwitn 90mins never mind an intense high kevel game like the other night, ccv goes off and its Murray we turn to who's not only not good enough we know from previous feck ups, and at rb ralston Al leave rhat there, mccowan deary ne where to start,
Problem is that could be the squad for the season as the miserable feckless won't spend now even tho we're about 5m up on ins and outs,
Well not another penny from this Tim sick of them same mince every year.

Ccv is deemed fit by manager and played every game pre season and season, scales and trusty are both capable in a playoff against lask not to mention where our 2 ch choices that won league most of last season, won in Bologna Feyenoord and Germany? lb no doubt an issue, but has club offered players to manager that doesn’t want, sarrachi we now know wanted more minutes and wasn’t going to get them, but yeah lb a problem, mentality manager captain and staff but there’s enough old guard to also know what’s needed, bench is in an issue but at some point we need to recognise the 11 where more than capable and shouldn’t have needed bailed out, the bench was as you say tho weak, although manager didn’t use what was probably his 3 best options, Hassan had a late wc and extended break, he was a main and expensive target, I don’t think blame should be used in anyway around the guy, Engels forced his move and you don’t sign anyone because of it, we’ve tried to get our targets and it didn’t happen before game, we can blame Engels himself to be honest, hetate is under contract and rejected offers, there wasn’t a suitable offer last summer I’m wandering why you keep mentioning this, in theory if it was a maeda situation you could have a point but u don’t.

It’s manager his staff captain and players fault that our team can’t beat lask joe, don’t kid yourself in your not as always revelling in a bit of a disaster, praying for I told you so moment,

If a top team lost to us no1 we would accept the praise of winning no2 wether they need players or not it would be the teams fault for not performing not anyone sitting in the stand, our bench I’d say was our only real deficiency the other night, but Osmond Hassan and Forrest not getting on park was a bit nuts, Osmand for running power, Forrest can keep a ball better than most, Hassan I think could have carried ball out of danger, all should also like the playing team be coached run up to game what our tactics are if holding on to lead, the team peed the bed Joe, looked badly coached, and played atrociously, running into game we had signs but most people went in delighted with our business (acknowledging more required ) but hugely confident and delighted, cl qualification I don’t think would have got us any new centre halves, sinasalo was a mixed bag but he didn’t let us down, rb is a clear issue as we have young rb that seems to not have the energy to compete for a full game (that’s a worry as his quality seems to be there or there abouts ) is there a mentality thing with him,

Joe your fishing for (board ) . To be answer to your questions, it’s just not, let’s pick this board stuff up end window.

When you put it like that, it’s nothing but complete incompetence top to bottom.
And given how many CL rounds we’ll have to face in future, CL will be out of our grasp for several years now.

So we agree issues at lb and rb no replacement for engles imo our cbs struggle with physicality as proven over the 2 games out muscled, the problem is the time it takes to get deals done, every year is the same we don't give ourselves the best chance of qualifying, look at that bench no back up keeper ralston mccowan Murray balikwisha hatate who's been missing for a year a 35 yo forrest who i incidently would have had on before tounekti hassan signed too late who's faults that and let's be clear aj would have been sold but for injury, sh@tshow again.

Jaa11 you’re like a Doberman chasing its tail. You constantly acknowledge the deficiencies that haven’t been addressed and in the next breathe you treat them as an irrelevance. The squad should have been ready long before we came near this tie. If the targets identified don’t want to commit before certain qualification, F them, move on and find someone that does. If players want to leave before replacements found, again F them, they’re under contract.

You keep saying you’ll wait till end of window to judge board performance, unfortunately by then it’s too effin late. Again and again and again and again. How many more times do we let this board repeat the EXACT same failures and hang another manager dangling in the wind. This club can afford a little bit of risk. It constantly chooses not to.

Again WeeJoe, I told you all so.

Agsu the players on thst park in LASK are more than capable of holding onto a 4 goal lead.

Players fault, managements fault.

27 Aug 2026 13:20:34
Agree with both points Greentree, wee Joe has been telling us constantly, and tbf if you gave me 55mins to defend a 4 goal lead against PSG and we blew it I’d be gutted. It’s a combination of all but we all know who shoulders that blame and it shouldn’t be a 75yr old man.
