If reports today that the Bosnian 21 year old, Ermin Mamic, is 'jetting' in to sign for Celtic, it's an interesting one.
I've read that he's apparently an attacking midfielder, which, I'm hoping means there's a CDM following closely behind him.
What it would mean at least is that we're building a younger and more dynamic midfield and a squad with far more options.

Who do we take out of the team for him? Or would he be back up?. Looks like the young lad from Chelsea is coming in for cover for left back so it's starting to look good for this season. I think a GK and a fast CB and we will be sorted.
Being greedy another winger for the left side if Jota is going to take 8 or 12 weeks before ready to play and a holding midfielder would be a perfect window as far as I can see.

I think the whole squad would benefit from some rotation and if we're making further quality signings that becomes even more necessary.
We're getting close to the point of having two decent options for every position but players need games to stay match sharp and give them experience, especially where youngsters are concerned.
Will MON be brave enough to do it? or will he revert to type and keep playing what he believes is his strongest eleven.

I genuinely don't know how MON will set up the starting 11 when this window closes tony, particularly if he does bring in Mahmic AND a CDM, one thing it will do is create competition for places in the centre of the park.
I'm sure a few of the boys on here may have some ideas.

Great squads have rotation. That itself avoids player burnout and having competition for each position is where we want to be if we want to try advance in Europe. I would love it if we could keep AJ but with the fee we could get for him we could fill that area with 2 decent signings and wouldn't have to rely on Anthony Ralston getting pitched in there.
Love Tony for his commitment but he's not class enough for where we want to be.
A few more in the door and we could be looking at a very good season ahead!

Everyone and their Aunt can see we need a proper CDM but if we buy one, will our captain move forward or will he want to stay in his comfort zone between the two CBs?
I think he will find it difficult having settled into the holding role for club and country for many years.

If Ermin Mahmić comes in, I hope it is Gineitis that follows. He is a class midfielder. He is 6'3" and very strong. He would bring the physicality we need, although Mahmic isn't small and looks strong and athletic.
Looks like an athletic young team we are building.

I think Mehmic will end up being superior player to Engels.
