Not Celtic related. i'm not a fan of the Beatles or indidual Beatles music. but was reading reviews on paul McCartney new album which has been getting good reviews. decided to give it a listen. and for a 84 year old whose music I was never really into it's actually a decent listen . pleasantly surprised.
{Ed007's Note - Paul McCartney died in 1966 and was replaced by William (Billy Shears) Campbell ☺
I'm a big Beatles fan but McCartney is probably my least favourite out of them and his solos stuff is by far the worst out the 4 imo.}

Paul McCartney's voice deserted him about 30 years ago. It's cringeworthy now!

What Beatles album is worth listening to? Never ever gave them any thought.
{Ed007's Note - Jeezo Kendo!!! My mts doesn't "like" them but she listens to their greatest hits album from early 2000s called 1 (yep just the number 1) if you like that which is all their popular stuff then Rubber Soul or Abbey Road are definitely worth checking out along with the Red (1962–1966) & Blue (1967–1970) compilation albums.
If you like a bit of weirder stuff like Pink Floyd or The Velvet Underground then Sgt Peppers and Magical Mystery tour are up there to chill out to.
A lot of The Beatles early stuff is basically just 60s pop music and it actually wasn't "hip" to like them if you were a man about town, my dad always told me that "bad boys" liked The Rolling Stones, smart/sharp dressing "ladies men" liked The Kinks & The Who and the women/girls liked The Beatles - then weed hit Hamilton and nobody cared at parties ??
