Still no replacements for kyogo, idah, Kuhn, schmeichel and saracchi.
Suppose, at least they got a Maeda replacement before selling. Even though that is all they got so far.

Joe I see what your saying but it’s your one sided narrative, who did jota balikwisha Osmand and tonetki replace, meada arguably replaced kyogo at the time (form was better, goal scoring record better and he wanted to be cf) jota was the arguably maeda replacement and one the fanbase where ecstatic to have, idah was replaced by inheacho
Injuries, form, quality are all other aspects that obviously make it not as cut and dry as that but none the less the club have looked to fill these positions, there’s no hiding what they wanted didn’t transpire hence why I see your point,
Sarrachi and schmiechel your being a bit cute about. Club are actively looking for a gk and we will need a lb, so why you feel need to add them to your point I don’t know ( maybe more Hugh keevins esk negative sensationalism)
I think the point should be, our squad still needs 2 forwards 1 lb 1 gk 1 winger, that there is no doubt,

Jota, balikwisha and tounekti are all left wingers, so did not replace any of them
Osmand is a development player and likely third choice, so did not replace Kyogo or idah.
Maeda only got moved centrally as we failed to replace the strikers who left and still got played on the left sometimes.
I add saracchi and schmeichel because they left and have yet to be replaced, despite season about to kick off and CL qualifiers fast approaching. My guess is we will try and sign a first choice keeper, so we could be starting season and going into CL qualifiers without a first choice keeper.
3 of the players I mentioned, left a year ago and the other more than 18 months ago. Do you not think that is sufficient time to find a replacement?

I know there were overlaps when the players were there at the same time, but it could be argued idah replaced kyogo and Jota replaced Kuhn.

No it couldn't as idah was already there and our number 2. He only became. number 1 by default.
Jota didn't replace Kuhn as he came in before Kuhn left and plays on the opposite wing and was also out with a season long I jury before Kuhn left.

To be fair Jota was obviously brought back to replace Kuhn BEFORE he left as it was inevitable that he would leave.
You would need a crystal ball to know that Jota would be injured.
Decent forward planning for once.

Didn't need a crystal ball in the summer as he got injured before end of season, not to mention he plays on the opposite wing.
