I've now just seen his post match presser. Chirpy chappy as usual. However, when asked if there has been any movement on incomings he gave a gig thumbs up and said 'There has'! He doesn't look down in the dumps or disillusioned to me in the slightest.
We all know MN should be hunted from Celtic Park, but after seeing this I feel a wee bit more optimistic. Thoughts?

I remember him saying the same in January.
Only once they have signed can we have a view on the player.

Celtic had actually made 6 new signings by this date last year.
KT, Doohan, Osmand, Inamura, Yamada and Nygren.
Yet Brendan only played 2 of those players.
It’s very frustrating how slow we do our business every year but I don’t mind waiting if it turns out to be a good signing.
On the flip side it’s unfair for new signings to hit the ground running without a proper pre season with their new Management and teammates.
Most of our opponents have done their transfer business early but that doesn’t mean they have signed better players than us.
The Celtic transfer window thus far has been unsurprisingly expected.

Buzz how do yoy know they haven't signed better players than us if we've only signed one player. Nothing to compare them to. It's a joke.

Well said mark. By the looks of it Celtic have signed the best player so far. Proved it in champions league last year and looks to be showing his worth at us so far.
{Ed007's Note - Shankland's the new BFKB, Devlin is the type of player we need in midfield but nowhere near good enough and their new GK let in 65 goals in 48 games last season ??

True mate, Devlin would have been a decent squad player but we’re bloated in the cm department. From what I’m seeing the players we’re going for is players to improve us in Europe that’s what we've been wanting.

Shankland, Connor Ronan, Guendouz. I d even say Devlin for some bite in midfield. It's not just about what other Scottish teams have already signed though is it? It's about the players Celtic are inept at finding and convincing to sign. The raft of players needed to fill the many positions currently needed, and to backfill the positions when the likes of Maeda, Engels, Hatate, etc is frightening. And yet we're two weeks before the start of the season with a squad that is threadbare.
