Everyman and their dugs know the general feeling of a large proportion of the supporters feelings in relation to the boards incompetence. It just fuels the anti Celtic press. It chokes them to print any positive news about the club. We are continually told of players we missed without any validation of interest.
Yet we are provided puff pieces of the tribute acts signings and potential (pipe dream) . Even good news is delivered as a jobby sandwich. I'm fearful and hopeful at the same time. Just have to suck and see. If it wasn't MON in charge I would just be fearful. Here's hoping HH.

You are right Kwaj. The media haven't a real notion of who we in for. They just link us with anyone in a certain price range, then hype it up if an agent name drops us to get attention for his player. The french striker earlier in the window and the Swedish defender are examples of that I think.
Our own media make it worse adding info in for click bait, like, "the board missed an email" so the french striker goes to a third rate Belgian team.

Just watched the first half highlights of the game yesterday.
We got the ball forward far more quickly than we did all last season. Our cbs just received the ball, looked up and fired it forward. Most of the time it hit one of our own and they had a chance on goal.
Balikwisha looked comfortable in a physical game but just needs to learn that final piece, having a shot at goal early Many times he had the chance to hit it early but he needed an extra touch and the chance was gone.
The game definitely demonstrated our need for goal scorers up front. Hopefully Duran and another will fill that gap.
First game of the season and a helluva lot of work and business to do but already our system of play looked different.

The Govan loving media have the sevvies buying Ferguson who is valued at 17m. Clearly trying to move the hordes minds away from the cheap staunch players they have taken in.
Watching him for Scotland he isn't a 17m player imo.
We take in another 4 or 5 players of Durans quality and we will be loooking good.
