Supposedly we had everything agreed for him to sign last season but we just didn't bother going ahead with the deal and didn't even answer calls from his agent. It was only then that he went to Ajax so why would he even consider coming to us.

Also with regards to possibly buying a gk, surely we could stick with model of older international still quality gk model, listening to joe hart he should be employed to go speak to anyone we’re interested in, Norway keeper, Swiss keeper both out contract, older but awesome keepers, read a rumour of a 5m gk bid and got the barkas ptsd.

JB, he said that as soon as Ajax came into the negotiations there was only one place he was going, so to say it was our fault is nonsense.
