I appreciate this is no new theory, but increasingly I see all actions (and lack of) pointing towards DD selling up and moving on.
Board have looked incompetent, penny pinching and have created divides. But they have remained rigid in their posts. Why?
Money has been received through play sales in the multi millions but little other than (rubbish) chip loans/ deals have come in since?
With all respect to MON he was the cheap and easy option, as no one currently working or with any quality would take this job whilst the board carry out whatever they are doing in the background?
I say this, as to be this incompetent in running a club from such a position of dominance and success, certainly domestically is absolutely incredible to comprehend, we pass it off as incompetence, I call it too shady to be legit.

I smell a rat and it’s not Brendan!
However I could be proved wrong this week with a great summer signing…. ?.

Nope a signing changes nothing really! All your points still resonate imo.

Let me see.
The rat left, Martin stepped in and actually had us in a good position going into Festive period.

Some genius on the board (who shall remain nameless) brought in this wonder manager, Nancy (95% of supporters said, "WHO? "
He managed to lose games and points until he was dumped.

Martin stepped in, scraped win after win and we ended up with double.

The club cannot (or not tried to) find a replacement so Martin has agreed to give us another season.

I suspect he does not need the money but is following his heart here,

Sorry to disappoint you but the Desmonds are going nowhere.
Celtic is a cheap plaything for a family with that wealth and he's a businessman.
Why get rid of something that's not costing you anything?
Also, he knows how much the fans can't stand him so he will hold on to his shares just to piss us off.

One thin I am concerned about is lack of signings. Have a squad of about 15 players, another 10+ could leave. What is actually going on here? Are we really going into the season with Calum McGregor playImg another 55 games. Disaster.

Our squad is

Sinisalo, doohan
Tierney
AJ, Donovan, ralston
Trusty, scales, CCV, Murray, Nawrocki

Callum, hatate, Nygren, mccowan, Bernardo, engels

Yang, Forrest, tounekti, balikwisha, Jota

Maeda, osmand, kenny

You could argue that we only need a left back and GK and maybe only see movement in the other positions if we offload players to make room. That is not me saying we don't need to strengthen. I am merely pointing out, how I think our board will be looking at it.

Remember, "we can't afford to swing and miss" and our potential budget this season, is far less than it was last season because of FSR and our depleted revenue.

Hope i'm wrong but I can't see Jota making much of an impact, if any, this season.

What did we actually spend last season? £12m odd? I get there was loan fees ect but that is abysmal. I dread to think what the wage bill for the squad was last season. This season was and should be the clean slate needed.

Loans returning, move on the wantaways and deadwood and operate with a more streamlined squad, with better quality, massively bringing the wage bill down from last season as that's a big factor in FSR.
