With most of us Celtic fans not privy to what is happening with DD, Martin and Robbie, we can only try and read between the lines of the snippets coming out from reporters.
My best guess, and it is just that, is DD is sounding out Martin to see if he still has the appetite (and ENERGY) for at least one more season. I also think Martin wants assurances that The Board will support him and give him a decent transfer budget. IF Martin takes job for another season or what, I think it will pour cold water on any further protest that would ensue if Keane got job
So who do I want, ach bring back NANCY lol.

Tim if that was the case, would he not have spoken to MON first, before speaking to RK.
That is what any decent CEO would do, however as we all know DD isn't our CEO or owner of our club and our CEO is busy counting paperclip, while DD is busy playing golf.
MON deserves first refusal after saving their blushes but he may even realise it is time for real change and that change is not RK imo.
