Is it Official that Iheanacho is away
In this Tim's eyes I thought club would keep him and offer him a 1 or 2 year deal
I realise he has fitness problems, but I was hoping a full pre season under his belt would benefit him, also he is clearly a decent impact sub, can offer experience and advice to younger players, and seems to be a good influence in dressing room, him and Oxlade Chamberlain with a good pre season can offer a lot to Celtic.

That was my take as well Tim was hoping both got deals, pre season is crucial for a good season.

Both have great talent that is undeniable. But I think both have lost a yard or two and if we want to go forward I think we have to bring in quality that has some pace also.
I am sure both will be on a good wage also wages that can be used for younger faster players IF WE BRING THEM IN on time and not the end of the window.

I cannot understand why Iheanacho hasn't played more than 60 minutes in games over the last 5 years.
The reason has never came out which is really concerning and if he isn't capable of a full game, he really isn't worth the risk.
We could pay him 25k a week and get very few games back for that money.
I thank him for his goals this season, not his effort, because in some games he hardly moved, but it is time to say goodbye unless the club can get a guarantee that he can get fully fit. I don't think he can give that.
For me the Ox is a better bet, as he needs a pre-season as he hadn't played in a year but again can he get back to full fitness and near the player he was.
They will be near 50k a week between them, that is a lot for definite maybes.

Well bring them back on loan one minute before deadline day closes along with 4 or 5 duds.
