This Board and how it Thinks/ Works
I see names are being leaked like the Bodo Glimpt forward Hogh, he is available for £9m+ right away we KNOW the club will NOT come close to matching that
This present Board have their own blueprint, which is sell players before buying anybody, so going on this principle who will Board try and sell and for how much
Engels will be sold I think Board will want £10m+
Nygren same sort of figure £10m+
Hatate, much more difficult to put price on him, a very talented player but a lazy player, put £10m+ and HOPE
Maeda he has added a right few quid to his transfer value what can we get £15m+
4 Players I think if our Board get offers around £45m+
I think they will take it, yes to me these 4 players are worth more but have we got a decent negotiator on Board
Even if we raised £45m do you honestly this bunch of cheapskates would hand it all to new manager to rebuild team
This Tim thinks NO.

We just taking a potential 15m drop on Engels Tim?
Engels will be £25m +.

Totally agree BB. I also suspect we will sign players once we have agreements in place to sell first, which will be a mistake as other clubs will jump in ahead of us as per usual.

Be amazed if we got hogh.

Tim, unless the board change their M. O, I agree with your point.
I do think though that your player valuations are a wee bit off.
Engles, Maeda, CalMac, Hatate, CCV, Trusty, Palma and a few others would net the club the in the region of £60-70M (if those and other first team squad players) all left.
The board will want to make it's usual post transfer window profit but given just how bad this current crop of players are, a sizeable investment in recruitment is required, as well as a new manager.
Maloney has apparently been interviwed for the DOF role (equivelant title) , so we will watch with interest.

Hogh has got the German League written all over him. I reckon there or portugal.

Guys I was being cautious on valuations, like most of you I think some of our players could go for £20m+ but it is about achieving those amounts.

We allegedly turned down £25 M for Engels already.
