Does anyone reckon the the unseen fenian hand has infiltrated the masons and now took over and that’s how we are getting all these decisions going for us lol.

{Ed007's Note - June 1st 1982, Bellahouston82CSC were born and the rest is history....

Ha ha ED007 my memories of Bellahouston is a certain Pastor Jack Glass turning up with TEN followers outside the park, to protest 300,000 Catholics in HIS city lol.

{Ed007's Note - 10, that must have been half the Ibrox attendance at the time to be fair.}

Think var has actually worked for us recently and every decision was bang on no thanks to the officials especially the linesmen.

{Ed007's Note - 100% VAR has made mistakes no doubt but they've done it across the board for every team but what it has doe has evened the board, there's no escape with honest mistakes or it evens up over the season...
Regardless of everything else on Saturday, that was a stonewall penalty for us BUT back in the pre VAR days Maeda's goal would be offside and we'd be told to just accept it...
I was against VAR coming into Scotland simply because it was still the Lanarkshire Mafia running it but it certainly has brought in another level of transparency that can surely only improve our game in th elong run.
We could definitely improve the VAR system though and invest £ training people to use it along with the refs.
Offer Pierluigi Collina a couple of million a year to take over our referring system?‍♀️

Maeda goal sat plus one at fir park when red card wasn’t even up with play ed, love the gif btw.

That was the first penalty hearts had against them all season!

VAR has shone a huge floodlight on the honest mistakes and while it's far from perfect, it's better than we had.

The vast majority of those wanting rid of VAR are from the darkside as they benefitted hugely from the "honest mistakes" and still benefit most from VAR "inconsistencies".

The Beaton stats on penalties v Celtic highlight exactly why we need VAR, A more comprehensive version, manned by anyone other than Lanarkshire refs would be even better!

As I have said before VAR = No Tavpen

That is the reality for them and is why they are complaining so much about it now.

With the said individual skulking away from ipox to pastures new, that is a fan favourite phrase we will never hear again.

Arrived as an unknown and leaves a hall of famer who's career can be summed up as 2nd best to CM.

I agree 100% Edd.

I have no idea how much it would cost the clubs to upgrade the system to the one used in the EPL but it wouldn’t half rule out any shenanigans.

If clubs got sensible with their ticket policies to start filling the stadiums then that would help.

Also would the SFA contribute from the World Cup bonanza?

VAR has a place Ed,
What I don't understand is why they have to conduct the review in secret.
There are thousands of supporters who have paid good money to attend the game.

If var has a concern then the ref should IMMEDIATELY go to pitch side monitor to review. Not hold a 10 minute conversation THEN go and look.

In addition, the var review should be shown on the big screens so those same paying supporters can see and hear the review discussion.

Anything less, stinks of cover-up, collusion etc.

{Ed007's Note - I totally agree with you about the time VAR results take and that the ref should immediately go to the monitor ????
