I think Daizen's goal is up there with Henrik's from the 6-2 game. Thoughts bhoys ?.

{Ed007's Note - We were talking about this on the Discord earlier and Larsson's chip/dink was quality but see when you were a laddie, kicking the ball about in the garden or with your pals, don't tell me you never imagined - and tried to it like it happened - scoring an overhead kick goal against them?
Maybe it's an age thing from even back to Pele in Escape to Victory ?‍♀️

The other one of quality could have been Zlatan's against England.

{Ed007's Note - An overhead kick, like a long distance free kick just feel "special" to me, I'd have rather bent the ball round the Rangers wall as well probably than Larsson's - I'm not taking anything aaway from Larsson, I was there and have the scars to prove it - but we have seen some wonder goals over the years and Henriks is up there but for me Maeda's top's the lot - Roy of the Rovers fairytale stuff.}

As you say ed, I tried for years to do the overhead kick and score during the weekly games. Felt like a bloody superstar when I finally got the proper goal ? just something special about an overhead kick. Better of a finish at the weekend.

{Ed007's Note - If you done it and it trickled in you were delighted but watch the trajectory of the ball when Maeda hits it, the way it dips almost as if it was being guided by some kind of ancient Samurai warrior spell - it was ethereal.

Time after time we see quality goals - goals you never see elsewhere - like Henrik's chip, Maeda's overhead, Naka's bender and free kick against Man U, Griffs two against England and Scales' when he was playing with the sheep against Sevco. You never see other Scottish players scoring anything like these. The quality has always been at PH.

Still cringe at the bit where they have to break the goalie's arm to get old Sly into the team. O.

12 May 2026 20:55:01
It's another outstanding goal but larssons fir me.

Naka against ManU, was in a bar in Madeira, full of englanders, just before he took it I mentioned very loudly that he was better at free kicks than Beckam. When it went in I happened to say ‘told you’ to stunned silence. Happy days ?.

I think Larssons best goal v them was actually his 1st in the 3-3 draw in 2002, Momo Sylla hammered a cross far too hard but Henrik trapped with his right foot, turned and with his left foot blasted past Stefan Klos.

It's the best derby goal for me. Quite easily.

You ok Edd, Trajectory, Samurai Warriors spells are you on the Ginger Beers n watching Tom Cruise film ?.

{Ed007's Note - I don't drink mate, I'm more than capable of talking pish without alcohol being involved lol

13 May 2026 10:49:38
Try a Ginger Beer n ice cream mate youl love it after our hard fought 3pts tonight ?.

{Ed007's Note - Nah, ginger beer is horrible stuff, heartburn in a bottle! My dad used to drink it, I'm a soda water & lime man ??

13 May 2026 12:02:22
Sorry, Troy, that would draw ma erse through ma elbow mate.

13 May 2026 12:03:40
There's a chocolate beer you can get - tastes the same coming up as it does going down.

{Ed007's Note - ???

Henricks goal against St Johnstone was a superb strike but its the magnitude of that goal that makes it one of the best for me.

A must win game where the immensity of the result meant stopping the ten.

He stood up, made and took the shot, took the responsibilty and put it into the top corner.

A hell of a striker from a fearless player who knew what had to be done and took the responsibility.
