I wonder what everyone's thoughts are on the new manager. I'd love to think the board are all over it and we're just told heehaw as per. But sadly I'm leaning more to the mental panicking no idea side of things. We can barely sign a player these days. How are we supposed to sort a decent manager?

If they had any degree of competency, which we know they don't. Then they would have found someone, got them to sign a pre- contract and announce them once the season is over and get them in right away. They should also be operating in the background by accessing the players and identifying and securing transfers.
However, we know they will be doing none of that as it is a show.

How can you get transfers secured when we don’t know what European competition we will be in? Will get a better class of manager and player if we are in CL rather than conference or europa.

How can you get players in January then when you don't know what European competition we will be in? Why does the planning for summer start after January window when we don't know what competition we will be in?

Edg that’s exactly what Lawell used to do which left us unprepared for qualifiers potentially costing Celtic over £300 million in CL revenue, and that’s a conservative estimate.

We can’t disrupt run in, hopefully they’ve made headway in search, I’m more worried about other people we need, who is scouting, assessing, watching players, what’s our identity of play and players required, do we have anything that resembles a transfer target list (when we clearly didn’t previously with a full time manager and team in place to do that ) , we need to get this season over, anything outwith this season being in public I think would be disruptive, I’m praying it’s all resolved with manager announced right after season ends.

Champions League - we can’t get by the easy qualifiers.
This Celtic team will get embarrassed in the Champions League.
Build a team then get them good enough to not get hammered.
