This will be Dunfermline’s 6th Scottish Cup final appearance and their 5th Final against Celtic.
Dunfermline won the 1961 Scottish Cup under Jock Stein after a replay against Celtic in their first final.
Celtic then got revenge in the 1965 Final with Jock Stein only being made the Manager 2 Months previously.
Dunfermline then beat Hearts 3-1 in the 1968 Final after winning an earlier tie at Celtic Park.
That was the only domestic cup final Celtic never played in from October 1964 to May 1976.
The SFA banned lap of honours from 1965 to 1975.
Celtic then had a comeback 3-1 victory in the 2004 Final with Larsson scoring a Double in his last game for Celtic.
Celtic then won the 2007 Final with a late winner against an already relegated Dunfermline side.

Buzz, I attended both 1961 games and I was so sure we would win, but in typical Celtic style at that time we could not hit the net and keeper Connachan had a wonder game with some amazing saves.
The 1965 final was a cracker and victory with Big Jock on our side this time paved the way to Lisbon.
