I sadly cannot see us winning league as we have the worst strike force ( whole attack inc wingers ) I've ever seen on all my time watching celtic. nygren is also the only midfielder scoring goals. i'm also not convinced sinsalo is the finished article either. could both big and wee Sevconian implode? possibly. but I think unlikely.
{Ed007's Note - Imploding? None of the 3 teams are putting any great run of from together, Hearts have lost 2 of their last 5 (3 of their last 7) which is the same as us, TRIFC have drawn 3 of their last 7 (2 draws in their last 5 games).
With Hearts still to come to CP, away to Hibs and away to Motherwell there's still plenty of chance for them to drop points, TRIFC have still to go to Tynecastle and Falkirk as well as CP.
I expect all 3 teams to drop points between now and the end of the season but we MUST beat Hearts and TRIFC.}

{Ed007's Note - For months, every time we have dropped points we've heard "that's the league over" - and we've heard the same from TRIFC fans when they drop points - and here we are 5 points behind with 21 still to play for.

Its crucial we take full points before the split anything less and I think we can forget it. Win those 2 games and we could find ourselves level with them and 2 or 3 behind Hertz going into split. Worst case we go to split as we are the now.
Beat them and we overtake them, beat Hertz and we're within touching distance. I think 6 wins and a draw would take the title but its imperative 2 of the wins come against them and Hertz. I believe we are well capable of achieving this.
{Ed007's Note - We're no great shakes, Stevie but neither are any the other 2. We have a manager in MON and players that have been ther & done it when it comes to the business end of the season. The next few weeks will be the type of pressure Hearts have never experienced and we know that TRIFC can't handle it.
Let's hope MON and the players aren't throwing in the towel like a lot of the support are.
Hopefully over the break the board & the GB/support can call a truce and get CP full and rocking for the rest of the season, call an amnesty for any trumped up accusations that have no legal basis until the summer and then deal with it.}

Agree it’s so close to summer we need to call truce,
On league we’re so worse than even the Covid season but still in contention (lost Covid league by 25 points) that highlights how poor the other 2 are, hearts are better than normal but no world beaters, Celtic and sevvies have both been dire (but we’re dyer without spunking 50 mill ) imagine we pumped 50 mill into our team and ended up with nothing better, developing and stealing local talent need to be a priority imo but we’re years behind that being a success, we need an Ange type appointment (not Ange) who can galvanise team. Polish a few Turds, bring in some unknown talents and develope some players.

I was looking at our Covid season team and it’s much better than our record team.
The starting lineup that beat Hearts to win the Quadruple Treble -
Hazard
Ajer, Jullien, Duffy, Taylor
Turnbull, Brown, Calmac,
Christie, Edouard, Elyounoussi
We also had Rogic, Griffiths and Frimpong on the bench.
Our recent recruitment has been very poor.
It’s crazy we have lost 8 league games but still have a chance of the title.

I do think it’s possible due to us having both Hearts and Sevco at Celtic Park after the split.
I would currently have Sevco as favourites but that could change in the coming weeks.
Celtic have lost to 6 different clubs in the league this season and Sevco have only lost to Hearts all season but yet we’re only one victory against Sevco at Celtic Park to go above them.
Strange season so far with hopefully a few twists still to come.

We're definitely a shambles, but you just never know with that old Celtic magic, winning the European Cup from 1-0 down, Ten men won the league, 85 final from a goal down, 86 at Love Street, 88 cup final from 1-0 down, Tom Rogic final against the sheep, all these magical moments and more, you just never know, if there's a team this magic happens for it's us, I'm conceding nothing ✊???.

Some of the players playing are out their depths they are not good enough only mcgregor kt scales engles and trusty know what playing for our club means the rest as I've said are out their depths.

We've not won 3 games in a row since November. Our strikers not striker are on 11 goals. We are riddled with injuries. We aren't winning this league sadly.

I'd love to think we can still do it but I just don't see where the goals are coming from. We lost at home to a poor Hibs team and couldn't score against an even worse Dundee United team.
away from home. We can even seem to get a settled first 11 although injuries have hampered this. Going to be a tough few months for us all.
