I mentioned earlier in the week it was going to be a battle because the pitch was going to be disgraceful.
But only one team was up for the battle and it wasn’t our Celtic players.
Celtic are very poor in the final 3rd of the pitch.
The amount of crosses we put out of the park was once again shocking.
Celtic have now lost more league games than 5th place Hibs and we have lost more games than Hearts and Sevco combined.
I still think if Celtic win our last 7 league games we will win the league but it’s a massive ask with not many goals in the team.

We have only won 4 of our last 7 league games.
Previously we have used Europe as an excuse and today it’s the pitch.
MON needs to change formation - there must be one this group of useless clowns can perform in.

We will not win our 7 remaining games. We have no decent CF, a weak back line, slow ponderous midfield and journeymen wingers. Of the 6 players brought in only Aurajo has been a "pass". You reap what you sow.

Buzz. Do you have a current list of the whole Celtic squad. If possible could you separate the playing squad from the waste of money players still on the books please. I ask as it because we will have a monumental task ahead, with no management agreement in place as yet and no recruitment team in place.

Not a chance Celtic are winning all 7 remaining games as we have no one that can score regularly.

Admire your optimism Buzz, but even though that pitch was one of the worst, the majority of our team/ squad were second best all day. Gone was the attitude and desire shown in the second half of the Motherwell game and back came the slow, toothless no-show that has blighted far too many of our away games this season.
It really annoys me that we never have just one or two players off it, but too many times this season the majority of the team are rank.
Never over 'til it's over; but my worry is with all the injuries we do not have settled, confident and consistent team week-to-week and it's hard to see where the goals (or clean sheets) will come from. Celtic need a complete overhaul TOP to bottom this summer IMO.

I mentioned earlier 40 years ago today we thought the league was gone after a 4-4 Draw at Ibrox whilst Hearts Won 2-1 at Easter Road but we Won our last 8 games to win the title.
Celtic need to change our system if we want to win our last 7 games.
A 3-4-2-1 formation will give us a better chance but we need Johnston fit to get the full impact.
