I ASK YOU

Do you want ASKOU?

This TIM says "only if he brings his Motherwell winger with him on a five year deal".

Agree1 Disagree0

He ticks a few boxes for his style of play and a cheaper option the Celtic Board will love.
Wait and see how he gets on over the next 3 Months because he might only have the league to concentrate on after tonight.

{Ed007's Note - The guy's done absolutely nothing to warrant even being considered for the Celtic job, we'd be as well appointing John McGlynn.}

He has got guys like Paul McGinn and Stephen O’Donnell playing like decent footballers for the first time in their long careers.
I would be looking for a more experienced Manager though.

And bring back Calvin Miller on a 5 year deal with him.

{Ed007's Note - ??

We shouldn’t even be discussing him.

No way is he what we need. What has he done that qualifies him for the job. Part of a season managing a team playing decent football but sitting 4th in our league.

If we are looking at this level of manager, based on his half a season, by that level of logic, why not McInnes as they are leading the league.

There is no way i'd even consider him, so before I get all the hate, but how would we be looking at the Motherwell manager, if we want to improve domestically and in Europe. He needs to get a another few seasons under his belt. He could be a one season wonder.

Well someone in our club thought that clown Nancy was a good option

At least the Motherwell boss looks to have a good footballing brain with good tactics and he seems to be a good man manager also, him and staff also seem to have a good eye in the transfer market

Celtic could do a lot worse than Askou
ALot Worse.

I think after the shambles of this season, i don't think we can afford to be taking a risk with this guy. We need someone that has experience at a top level and ideally knows what its like to win trophies.

If new manager does not work and he wasn't to last beyond october say, then we would be looking to appoint our SIXTH mananger in 12 months. That would be unthinkable.

Tim, who thought WN was a good shout. I cannot recall anyone on here seriously saying he was our best option or even a good option but to suggest a guy who has been in charge of a club for 6 months sitting in 4th place as a great option for us is concerning.
