Hi guys first time posting here's the UEFA regulations use are arguing about Key Components of UEFA Financial Regulations (As of 2026)
Squad Cost Rule: Starting with the 2025/ 26 season, clubs are restricted to spending only 70% of their revenue on player wages, transfer fees, and agent fees. This follows a phased implementation of 90% in 2023/ 24 and 80% in 2024/ 25.

Break-Even Requirement: Clubs must ensure they do not spend more than they earn. While a €5m loss over three years is generally allowed, this can be increased up to €60m if covered by owner equity.
Monitoring Period: Compliance is assessed over a three-year monitoring period.

Tonybhoy 1888 welcome to our site

Yes Tony our Board CAN and HAVE money to spend
The UEFA regulations are what Sevco are taking advantage of with all their debts, if their gamble comes off they pocket £40m CL cash, but if they do not win league they are left with even bigger debts.

There is no argument about it. I posted a direct quote from the regulations that proved that the revenue for the 70% calculation was over a 1 year period.

Dr Phil is getting confused with the break even calculation, where a club is allowed to operate a 60 million loss and that is done over a 3 year period.

I have challenged Dr Phil to produce the legislation that says the 70% calculation is calculated over a 3 year period and he keeps ignoring it because he knows I'm right and he just does not want to admit it. ?.

I’m sure you’ve been reading for a while Tony but it’s good to see you joining the madness.

Joe I have been civil with you in the debate even showing you that I generally agree with some of your points. Again your playing the man like you did with Tbhoy earlier. You can be nasty if you want I'm not going to your level. Your just showing yourself up and losing what little credibility you have left here.

Below are the rules. I'm not confused about anything. To be honest I don't really care what you think. I do care about you feeding fellow fans wrong info to scaremonger.

Gradual implementing, and the three year rolling period/ coverage, which you keep ignoring, started on 24/ 25. But hey Joe keep on with the narrative.

UEFA Financial Sustainability Regulations (3-Year Rule)
Rolling Assessment: Similar to the previous FFP, the new UEFA rules (which affect Scottish clubs in Europe) operate on a three-year rolling monitoring period.
The 70% Squad Cost Ratio: From the 2025/ 26 season, clubs must ensure their "squad cost ratio"—spending on wages, transfer fees, and agents—is equal to or less than 70% of their revenue.
Gradual Implementation: This rule is being phased in. For the 2024/ 25 season, the permitted ratio is 80%, decreasing to 70% by the end of 2025/ 26.

You can bring a horse to water but ye can't make it drink.

My source has been taken directly from "UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regulations". Where is your taken from?

14 Feb 2026 18:23:43
Interesting that you’re still insisting on this, especially when what you're saying doesn't even line up with UEFA's actual regulations. The regulations are pretty clear, and it seems more likely that you’ve misread what you’ve seen, because the regulations do not say that revenue is calculated over a 3-year period (see my direct quote from UEFA's own regulations above) .

Did UEFA get it wrong in their own documents, does that mean you somehow know better than their official guidelines? Because from where I’m standing, it’s starting to look like you're just digging in to avoid admitting the truth.

I took it from the same place you did literally 3 articles before the items you quoted. Lol it's literally the same UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Sustainability Regulations ?
I even put the quote out in another message with the article reference 87.03.

Third time lucky- that's where the 3 year period is mentioned.

You know you are mistaken but not man enough to own your mistake.

15 Feb 2026 11:22:17
Thats pathetic and really showing yourself up here. "Man enough" wise up- you know nothing about me.

Your insistence on playing the man instead of facts just shows everyone you are clutching at straws. What little credibility you had is gone.
