I was looking at Martin O’Neill’s league record this season compared to Rohl and McIness during his spells as the Celtic Manager.
His record is in between the 2 Hearts defeats and then again from January 5th when he came back to this present day.
MON - played 10 league games and has 28 points.
( dropped points in only 1 game )
Rohl - played 11 league games and has 25 points.
( dropped points in 4 of those games )
McIness - has played 12 league games and has only 20 points.
( dropped points in 7 of those games )
Martin has a massive 8 points more than Derek McIness but yet played 2 games less during both periods this season as the Celtic Manager.
Hopefully that same trend continues against both rival Managers.

Martin O'Neil s ability to get us results is the only thing giving me a glimmer of hope.
Our board could help that by getting fans in, sacking Nicholson and reinstating fan media. Doing that would go a long way to calming things down until the end of the season.
I am still gutted that we qualified from group stage as we need these extra fixtures like a hole in the head.

Insightful stats Buzzbomb.
MON's ability to get results never fails to amaze me. What he's doing now is impressive enough but what he did post BR/ pre Nancy, was beyond my expecrations.
I'd love for him to get us over the line this season, whether that will happen or not remains to be seen, but one thing's for sure, I would never bet against him.

With Martin O'Neil as manager, I will always believe, anything is possible, l am not giving up on Glasgow Celtic wining the League title again, and also wining the Scottish Cup.
Hearts and Sevco have been getting the headlines for how goodt they are, how well they are playing, the great players they have, We will see at the end of the session how things turn out.

Hearts and Sevco now won’t have a midweek game until the 2nd last match of the season on May 12th/ 13th ( 3months )
Celtic won’t have a midweek break until this time next month.

Yeah we have a lot of fixtures coming up and our squad is threadbare in lots of areas. ?.

Neither of the ugly sisters are any better than us, no matter how our honest media report.
Baby sevco have been 2nd best for their last 3 or 4 games but have managed to get results, which demonstrates their resilience, even when down to 10 players.
Sevco start quickly in all their games but once they get the lead, they tailor off dramatically, similar to us but their defence is even worse than ours.
However when looking closely at their matches, no team sets up against either of the ugly sisters like they do against us, they do not play the 11 in defence strategy. They play open football, confident they can take them on, however very few times this season has any team done that against us.
Add that to very differing ref standards in games involving all 3. Our games appear to be more stop/ start than the others, refs allowing their games to flow more, allowing the advantage rule to apply more.
I am not a conspiracy theorist but just pointing out what I see, so to be sitting where we are, neat the top, whilst not playing great, is a demonstration of how good MON and SM are at man management and getting a tune out of a tired team.

Maeda,
It will be interesting how Hibs approach their game at Celtic Park next week because they unexpectedly sat in for a goalless Draw on their last visit.
Hibs haven’t scored against Sevco this season but they at least had a go and missed good chances similar to their Derby games.

Buzz, I bet it will be dig in and hope for a set piece chance or maybe a hit on the break opportunity.
Our games are quite boring at times due to our opposition tactics, its slow side to side, looking for space, which is mind numbing to watch at times and worrying if we lose the ball, because our last player is on the halfway line, with acres of space behind us.
Against other teams, they are more spread out with space to play.
A draw with us is celebrated like a win but against those 2 its like a loss of 2 points.
I am hoping AOX gets his passing game going, because he has the ability to move the ball forward quickly, making those defences move more, creating space for our wide men and strikers.
