Arne stays despite a good offer from Forest, which I'm pleased about. Is this fan pressure paying off in some sense? If the board weren't under so much scrutiny from us just now they would have ripped Forests hand off for that money.
So, a window of 5 loans which is not a good look and lacks the ambition needed to start challenging for the top spot. On the other hand, MON will be giving up the job in the summer and it would be unfair on a new manager to inherit a load of long term MON signings just in the door.

The summer window will be key and we'll be watching. The Clubs income will be way down for this season, a fact that has been facilitated by these utter numptees with a real possibility we could end up down the table.
Prove me wrong, please.

Rab, it demonstrates a total lack of ambition.

Even with a new Manager coming in in the summer, we should be buying quality players now that will win us the league and fit in with any new Managers plans.

Until I see them playing I am not convinced we have taken in the quality we need to win the league.

We may have taken in height in defence but just how good is he. Ajer is a big lad but he wasn't dominant in the air. He has a couple of firt team starts.

It is our midfield we need to be firing on all cylinders to win the league and it hasn't this season and we now have a potentially p****d off midfielder to go with the striker we p****d off in the summer.

This club under MN is totally unprepared and unprofessional in transfer windows. Nothing goes smoothly and gets done in time. It is always last minute and rushing, its like the bargain basket at Tescos, come 5pm we run in and empty it.

The next thing that needs addressed ASAP is a director of football, the scouting system needs to be on point for whom ever gets the position come the summer, we need to be prepared, the longer this is left the less efficient we will be and will end up in this scenario window upon window.

Least there's fresh faces for MON to work with for the remainder of the season and hopefully all players fight for places and bring each other on.

Although we are facing a reduction in income this season and probably next, does not mean we will have to face a reduction in spending. Given the 75% rule aligned with the situation we are only spending around 45% now, (thanks BoD) then we should be able to keep similar spending levels. That is of course providing the suits allow it.

No doubt the sale of Engels in the summer will give them their comfort blanket of a higher bank balance going forward.
