If the Engels rumour is true, that will be another player unhappy with the club.
It is a lot of money to turn down but it demonstrates what some of us have said, that there is a player in there.
Even if it happened at the start of the window, we still wouldn't have got a suitable replacement in.
Most of the players we were linked to didn't want to come here, even a player playing in the French 2nd division. He apparently said no after the club accepted our offer.

I understand players may not want to come and play in Scotland. However, it annoys me when it happens on the last day of the window.
Surely, we could sound out the player through their agent. We could ask the agent if they were interested before we invest time and effort negotiating.
