Just saw there the Croatian striker we were supposed to be after is signing for Robbie Keane s side. That's another one off the list .

Ohh, just read that the transfer fee was only £2.6M - we used to throw fees like that away on 'projects' and made almost twice that when Frimpong signed for Liverpool in the summer!
Given we're now halfway through January, this transfer window has got more rhan a whiff of Groundhog Day about it.
Another ship sailed, I can't help but think we've missed out here.

Kovecevic had 25 goals in 28 games inc 12 in Europe this season. £2.6M looks like a steal or at the very least a gamble worth taking.
Well done Robbie Keane and his club for singing him.

If he was any good, bigger teams would be interested. He’s 26, it’s hardly a punt. He’s almost the finished article at that age. He legit one of the strikers I saw mentioned that I didn’t want. He couldn’t even make it in Korea.
Stats make players look better than they are. He’d have flopped for us imo. Martin seems to be going after tall, strong and physical type players. I’m all for that. I don’t care what the stats say. If they come to us, it’s a new chapter.

@jaa - if that was the case it would be even harder for Sevco to get players as they are the secondary fore in Scotland.
