I absolutely feel so sorry for Martin . Everytime he faces the media he is asking the same questions regarding transfers and he looks absolutely lost when it comes to giving any positive answers. Personally I don't think the parasites within the board will sign any players he wants .
He will probably end up with bargin basement signings on the last day of the window by that time we will probably be out of the running for the title as our current team won't take anything from the hearts game and it breaks my heart to say that .

He backed the board when Rodgers was saying what he’s now saying.

Same paddy he's now getting to know what previous managers of our club went through during the window, everything is at a snails pace it'll be the last minutes if the window and some over the hill journey man will come in.

OR……we get 2 or 3 new players in, MON works a bit of magic over the next 8-9 days, Fearts get a player sent if (as per) and we win 6-0.

I’m worried that old MON is a board yes man and he’s playing on the fans deep admiration of him.
If it was me I wouldn’t have comeback after getting let go for the worst manager in football history.

Story from Anthony Joseph that we are looking at a Leeds striker who they paid Swasea 10 mil for.
He hasn't scored this season, so we will take him in on loan, if Leeds will allow him to come to us, rather than pay 4.3 mil for a striker who has scored 25 goals this season.

I don’t think he’s Bishopton, but it did cross my mind.
The reason I say that is because he was interviewed on the pitch after Nancey arrived, and he was being asked leading questions designed to make the board look good and shape a specific narrative for the fans. But he was smart enough to see through it and answered in a way that avoided feeding into that narrative.

Agreed JFP.
It’s just the constant patern.
AP couldn’t leave fast enough as he seen the writing on the wall with the board’s behaviour.
BR was at the end of his tether trying to get the board to invest and eventually gave up and left with Kennedy. Who can blame them.
I think they will back MON to a certain extent but only to take the pressure off themselves.
The next manager will get backed first season only.

I was one of the few that hoped MON had told them where to go when approached for the second time to dig them out of a hole. Previously, although he had built up a bit of momentum, he always maintained he was there for a short term - even though this was apparently contradicted after the Nancy nonsense.
His humour and enthusiasm decreases and looks more and more drained and dejected after every media conference since his third stint as manager as the reality of his isolation sinks in.
Looking at over-the-hill sick notes and other dubious deals are a total embarrassment for a club able to buy and sell all opposition in this league and this is not a new failing with this Board. It won't happen but for the good of his health, he should hand over to young Maloney if this incompetence and self-destruction continues.

Hes only played once.

MON has come in to steady the ship again, yet those he is rescuing don't even have the decency to come out and clarify their support toward him nor do they give the fans their intentions of how our club will move forward, absolutely silent oxygen thieves!
Mid way through with no real plan, heeps of pressure weighing heavy on an old legends shoulders, having to give groundhog answers to the vultures in the domestic media.
And christ whoever writes the dress for transfer rumours regarding Celtic surely aren't Celtic men, because the utter dross articles being churned every 15 minutes are derived from men with little knowledge and an abundance of churnalism, chasing views whilst drinking tea from their granny's basement!
