Well that was a hard watch. The team needs a boost and a few new signings could potentially work wonders and breathe new life into the current group. Forever hopeful, which is the word MON repeatedly used in his interview around signings. That being said, i'm realistic and wise enough to understand our current board don't share our views, concerns and ambitions.
let's see what the next week to 10 days bring. As a newby to this but a long long time viewer. BHOY88. your constant defence of the board is laughable. Nothing more to be said on that aside from wisen up because you are either deluded or playing to the galleries.

Bhoy, based on tonight's performance, doesn't matter if the Rangurs aren't coming, the other ugly sister is definitely coming.
The real problem is we are heading back towards them, they don't need to come.
We are a poor reflection of the team we were.
You can claim the board are doing their best but they are the reason we are in such a bad way.
Their poor investment in the team last year, not replacing the players they sold and then employing a guy so far out of his depth, that was all decisions of theirs, no ones else's.
Sadly they are the ones who can get us out if this but they have no plan, they are allowing our club to sink.

Meada we were heading towards them under Rodgers and Nancy. The board have already started to get us out of it by bringing MON in. Once MON has done his bit in identifying the players he wants then the board will have to do their bit and get the players he wants?
The board weren't giving BR the war chest he had the previous summer because what BR was failing to tell everyone ( but I figured it out) was that he was for the offski again.
I don't think I've ever said the board are doing their best? There's always room to improve no matter how well you think you're doing! I've argued the good the board have done but I also gave the board the deserved criticisim they deserved for hiring Nancy and not firing him quick enough.
Unlike some, I can give criticisim but I can also give credit where it's due. So I've no idea where " board apologist" tag comes from.

Bhoy keep doing. What you do, some of the radicals will keep shouting you down but your not alone, your opinion matters even if it’s wrong, club open to all unless you support the board lol (tongue n cheek no one’s suggesting your not welcome or that Celtic is anything other than a fully inclusive fanbase)

I don’t feel Bhoy88 is a supporter of the board ??. I do think he likes to wind some of you up and he gets a few catches ?
The board obviously have us in a great financial position. I do think that the money spent on Idah was a last straw for Rodgers as we know he can’t pick a player.
Idah had a good loan spell but was never good enough and not worth a penny over £3 million imo. Swansea are now regretting buying him.
Anyway, let’s hope MON finds us a striker and a Calmac replacement. We were poor last night but Calmac looked like he couldn’t cope with Falkirk attacking us.

We are where we are, I’m sick of the happy clapper, board apologist comments to those who just want to support our team, most of us actually agree on most things, but over last few days mon has been a liar, board are deliberately not spending money, welsh was recalled as a cheap option (although we’re no going to play him unless needed so he’s cover requested by mon, more than likely being sold, maeda is being sold to offset costs ( big because he’s desperate to leave ) , some of it’s exhausting Joe and nonsense, there’s no where to hide for Celtic it’s been rotten since we went out cl last year, and those responsible should be held accountable but some of the reaction is over the top, especially the frenzy right now when mon is saying to our faces there working hard, it’s not board issue etc etc,
By the way had Ross Desmond shut his mouth, took the criticism, let people vent before saying what he said, I’d have agreed with most of it, except the part that they didn’t think summer was a disaster, it was for me his timing that was tone deaf and not his words, my opinion is it shouldn’t have been him saying it though it should have been an actual board member.

In reality I don't aim negative comments at my fellow fans. Occasionally I may fire a barb back when people are insulting me but usually I just ignore it.

The reaction to the board isn’t even close to being over the top!
We could and should be light years ahead of where we are now. The level of incompetence from this executive would have lead to wholesale dismissals in any serious business.
The only thing keeping this board in place throughout this saga and the problems of decades that eventually came to a head, is this board. As in turkeys and Christmas.

When the very soul of your club is at stake no amount of criticism is over the top.
The undeniable truth is that the board have hid behind two successful managers in AP and BR.
To then put the club and its supporters second in pursuit of a very personal vendetta with BR was an absolute scandal.
I bet they wish they could go back in time because all they have done is shine a light on themselves.
