Joe I agree 100 percent green brigade needs allowed back in a.s.a.p, if that would happen get behind O'Neill resurrect our season, then get right appointment of manager, scouting recruitment and board to change, Nicholson away, do away but can't see it happening unfortunately but right now we need to choose our battles, get the right wins and In hope gradually get to our final success.

In my opinion the fans will get behind the team and the players but the protests against the board will ramp up.
I also do not see the board letting the GB back in as they told them that will only happen if you admit you are guilty of assault.

The GB are not going to admit assault when nobody has been charged with assault.
The Celtic Board are an embarrassment to our club.

If the club are pressuring fans to admit to accusations then surely this could jeopardize the case involving the 5 supporters who have been charged?

Agreed buzz.

Joe need to pick u up on your wording, the release from the gb not board was that there was no dialog until gb accepted accusations, not admit to assault, I know the board called it an assault in first instance so I'm presuming that's why you've said assault,
None less it's well known fact that word assault would be used for minor to forceful incidents, in boards defence (employees defence ) it should have been called an assault, if police aren't charging anyone with assault that doesn't mean then individuals don't feel it wasn't etc, the gb where out of order, emotions run high at matches and we've seen examples of piss poor policing and stewarding and if there's arrests now made then technically why do the group as a whole need to engage further it should be put to bed, if the request for dialogue is first for gb to admit to something then I'm sure they could recognise the incident happened, recognise they did (have an altercation with steward ) etc and use any dialog that then happens to discuss the stewarding actions etc that they will say caused incident, as an employer Celtic have to ensure there covering themselves regards future incidents purely from an employer point of view, they can't just let gb back in without dialog and acceptance of what happened was wrong, acceptance it can't happen in future etc, I'm no expert but a tick box exercise if anything with parties agreement will be needed, the gb need to own the issue, it did involve them, it did happen, it was wrong (we can discuss reasons til were blue in face ) but it all did happen, they don't need to admit to assault as you put it, sorry but while I have dislike myself at how clubs run at times your rhetoric at times is too blinded by your hate . Getting gb back is another signing in my view, club need to figure out how to engage with them properly, how to have them supported by club and how to keep them in check, perhaps an ultra supporter sla type person as go between, gb on there part need to accept there will be rules, there's no doubt in my opinion (not fully informed admittedly) the over policing, over stewarding is probably an end result of broken rules and behaviours on gb part .

Great post Jaa, if Celtic as an employer need to show that they are protecting their staff and rightly so, they also have a duty of care to see their staff are trained correctly. The stewards can get a little over excited sometimes.
There definitely needs to be dialogue between the Club and the GB to allow them back in and ensure that things don't happen in the future between fans and stewards where flashpoints can occur.
