Would you really He never forced his way in the door . he obviously believes in himself and believes he can do the job . so pride reputation arrogance stubberness kicks in . failure here will affect his short to mid term career prospects so why would he walk away from a very good wage knowing he could just hang on and recieve a great compensation package if sacked .
I also think it will take the humiliation of a draw or god forbid a defeat to auchenleck to force the biscuit tin custodians to consider sacking him.

Troy was Nancy signed on a 3 year deal? We all said this would have been a massive gamble, surely the 1 year floating contract could have covered the club if it was too turn out farcical, like it has done.

Was a 2.5 year deal which was unusual as we usually only do 1 year rolling contracts.
{Ed007's Note - They couldn't do that, it would either have been a 6 month deal or 18 month deal as a more realistic minimum, contracts have to end at the end of the season.}
