I noticed they had the Willie malley song on full belt at full time to try and drown out sack the board chants. ?.

Wee Joe,

With the greatest respect…. How do you sack a board? I'm no supporter of them as you will know.

But the toxicity…. If it continues will cost us the league. Again my view, to The Rangers.

We need to concentrate on buying players. Unfortunately, a decent number of. Possibly as many as 5.

We need a strategy to bring about change…. Financial pressure … yes. But " sack the board " isn't going to work… anytime soon.

I expect change in the next few months… chairman and possibly CEO.

I'm drawing the line at throwing away the league.

You get rid of them by applying as much pressure as possible so they have no choice but to go.

Joe what does get rid of them mean though, board change, lawell Nicholson out and better qualified, football minded football ambitious people in makes sense to me, but I've challenged you a few times on what a change in someone like Desmond would mean/ look like for you but nothing really comes back, just sack the board ……. do you want new majority owner, fan ownership, or do you concede just board reform will suffice,

What are we looking at come agm,
Board reform, new faces etc, would seem crazy if that happens and there's ongoing unrest, and what happens next time a fan group doesn't agree with a board decision do we repeat the process, like it or lump it football is a money orientated commodity where it falls within business and the money people with their money have earned (bought ) the right to run the club, if you speak to a fan of any other club they think Celtic fans are entitled childish spoiled brats who throw the toys out the pram at chance of a Challenge and chance that someone else might win their trophies, it's hard not to see there point when there's people like you, people that celebrated success but go mental when success is challenged (through own failings that's conceded with how rubbish transfers where etc ) ,
I fully agree with the current sack the board / not a penny more campaign, I just feel my expected / wanted outcome is completely different from yours, and if that's the same for rest of fanbase then there's always going to be a problem, and for teams sake surely we need to all be on same page at some point.

I think we'll see a couple changes in the boardroom and hopefully a DoF appointed bringing with them some changes to the recruitment/ scouting and sports science side of things.
But, Dermot Desmond's shares are going nowhere, even when he dies, his boy will take them and they'll be handed down and down long after we've all gone.

No amount of fan pressure is going to encourage him or his family to sell.

That is the issue here. The whole board can leave but it is DD who will decide who replaces them.

Nothing will change unless DD decides to change how he wants the club run.

There were rumours he was handing it over to his son, but unless he is more modern thinking, it will make no difference.

We need a complete overhaul on how the club is run from top to bottom and even if changes are made, it will take time, a lot of time with the way this club is run.

I have no faith in DDs appetite to make the changes needed, he and the board are too old fashioned for the modern football world.

Another surprise I read on here sonewhere, was maybe Ed that said it, not sure, that even BR removed some performance staff which may have impacted on the injuries we are having.

If this is the case, he claimed to want to move the club forward.

Is there anyone at the club we can trust to tell us the truth, take steps to modernise the club, engage with fans and remove rhe apathy we are all feeling.

60 years of suppoeting this club, this is the most apathy I have felt towards all those involved in running our club.

How can a new manager come into this club and expect to transform us right from the youth set up all the way to the first team. Make us dominant domestically and improve us in Europe, what a challenge.

10 Nov 2025 17:02:50
I don't see how youth can ever work for us with how Scottish football is set up, we need our b team/ reserves/ 23s playing competitively at the very least championship level for our youth to ever be worth anything or work for us, right now anyone good enough will get snapped up elsewhere a long time before ready for first team action, so for me club vision in terms of budget, set up, strategy, scouting, data, where the manager fits into the clubs way of working and not a manager stating all of these things then when he moves on next manger doing the same, this carries huge risk if goes wrong, sometimes having best manager available and backing him is enough, for some fan it'll never be enough.

If we get a new Chair, CEO and DoF that will be a great start and realistically that is the most change that will happen. DD needs to let them get on with the day job and his influence must lessen - he is NOT the owner of the Club.
