Reading booze bag buzz about re hiring big ange . as I'd rather a fresh face with different outlook / ieas etc . Got me thinking. if acceptable to the candidates could we bring in a manager like mkenna keane duff etc who are a bit inexperienced at top level to work with Martin in a mentor position till end of season .
possibly giving a smooth transition and taking a bit of pressure off.

The more the current arrangement gets results and the team plays well, the Board will see this a convenient and economical solution.
However, MON has reiterated how temporary he sees the situation. Personally, I worry if a third managerial change in one season could be disruptive, especially when we seem to be seeing a vast improvement in the attitude and effect of the current set-up.
Then again, if Shaun Maloney was made manager, would the players have the same response if MON was not the main man?
Although we are enjoying this short but prosperous transition, it can't be forgotten that this is the same squad of players that were deemed short of quality and ability after that horrendous 'window'.
Therefor, the next appointment has to be absolutely spot-on as there is still much improvement required in key areas and some of the team will probably be leaving in the summer.

It's a no from me regarding Ange returning to the fold.
To sign any manager who's currently at a club at this point of the season would be unlikely, I'd have thought, unless the compensation is significant.
Therefore, it could be January or the end of May, before we can bring a new manager onboard.
I did see somewhere that Knutsen could be an option with that league finishing next month?
Other than that it could be someone out of left field, currently out of work and waiting for the right offer.

Pedro, Knutsen will be available in December as their season is over.
He would be our best option but will the club go for him and pay him what he is worth.

He's done very well MIP, although I think it was Ed who previously mentioned that has an agreement with his club where he's paid a percentage of the transfer fee for players who are developed and sold on?
Wpuld our board be ambitious enough to fully back him, I'm not so sure.

{Ed007's Note - That was the rumours that have went about for a few years but Knutsen himself has denied it numerous times in interviews. If it is true - which I doubt, Ped - say it's 10% it's not been more than €2m in any one season, it's hardly crazy money.}
