BR’s position was unattainable and personally i do not blame him for resigning. The board are to blame for this penny pinching hit and hope transfer strategy.
Wonder if BR signed a non disclosure and now DD is trying to control the narrative?

Club should have done this on plane back from karat, Brendan knows he lost clubs backing and I don’t care what people say he should be doing better with what he has, if he’s elite he needed to show it and he’s failing ( although I thought he’d find it with time ) club clearly couldn’t back him and as soon as got opportunity took it by accepting his resignation, we will obv hear Brendan’s side at some point but I’m with Desmond and the club as no one is bigger than the club and we need to come together, Brendan is a successful Celtic manager and hel always be remembered for that .

John you obviously have no clue on how shares work so let me educate you.
If Desmond wanted to sell up, no money would leave Celtic. He would sell his shares and there would be a transfer of money between him and the buyer. Our balance sheet would not be impacted.

Joe, this group are split down the middle, like the rest of the fanbase I would suspect.
I like many think the board and BR are to blame for this.
BR was so vocal after every defeat, blaming everyone but himself and his team picks.
He didn't get what he wanted he kept saying but he still had better than all other Scottish clubs but couldn't get a tune out of them. He is to blame for that. The less said about the Khazak game.
He didn't have to continually moan about it, he could have got his head down and do his best, but he couldn't as his ego wouldn't allow him to take any blame.
I am a BR supporter but am glad he has left, as his heart was no longer in it any more and he believed he personally deserved better, because he is Breandan Rodgers.
The board if they have done anything to not support him, now have to look at themselves and some changes need to be made.
The only way they come out if this without blame is get get the right Manager appointed, showing ambition, and give that Manager the support in the market needed.
Can they do that? I am not sure they will.
