Rodgers may be tempted to put KT in at centre-half (where he has played at times for Scotland) and bring Sarrachi in at LB. Thoughts?

Scales hasn’t played on the right side for Celtic before.
It would be too risky having both CB out of position when we have Trusty and Murray as straight replacements.
Plus I don’t think KT has played CB in a flat back 4 before.

Buzz - KT first played as LCB in a back 4 formation for Celtic in the same game he became celtics youngest captain in the league cup thrashing of Kilmarnock on August 2017. He also scored a cracking goal that day.

First played or only played?
I checked that match and Brendan started 5 teenagers in a makeshift lineup.
I remember that World Class goal from KT.

It is KT's height that would be a problem playing in the centre. Long balls up to the forwards for a flick on would be a real danger.
It has to be Murray or Trusty for height and physical presence imo.
Our midfield need to take control early or they will play through us.

He played against Kilmarnock twice as a CB in a back 4. His first league game for Celtic as a CB was against hearts away. Also his last game for arsenal was against Southampton where he started as CB in a back 4 final game of last season.
Though Arteta played him a CDM, attacking left, left back and CB last season as he tried to plug injury gaps.

Trusty and scales got a clean sheet at atalanta last season.

Trusty is left-sided as well, it has to be Murray!
It would be a huge slap in the face to the youngster if BR doesn't start him, using his square peg round hole approach.
Hopefully see Yamada too. If he plays Kenny and he gets injured, we will be without a CF in Europe.

Good stats Aldo ?.

Its ok saying he played there for Arsenal but they don't play physical players up front like teams do here.
Not many teams down south throw the ball into the box like they do up here, so it's Murray or Trusty. Trusty for me as he and Scales know each other's games and yes in Atlanta they were superb.
I think Trusty would have reason to be more pissed if Murray got a game, than the other way round, having a better right foot isn't a reason to play someone.

It’s worth noting KT played at right centre back in 6 of his 9 appearances at the back for Arsenal and twice for us.
