Not another penny, nothing outwith match ticket, I can get behind this.

It is sad that it has gotten to this as fan action will hurt our club further. We are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
However, inaction will not drive the necessary change lots of us crave. Hopefully Desmond makes the necessary changes before real damage is done but there is only a small window of opportunity to resolve this before it boils over.
I feel the board are about to discover they need us more than we need them. Without the fans our club are nothing.

I agree, there’s fan group agendas and some nonsense at play also, some fans refuse to see the boards positive impact (that’s emphatically undeniable ) but fact is this year and last few jans for me have broke the back, if players and managers perform there accountable there needs to be accountability or reform so someone on the football side is accountable for the poor transfer windows,

I remember the last time the support challenged the Board during the disastrous Lockdown League and DD was not empathetic or sympathetic to the views and actions of the support. He seems very detached.

Loads of fans will find it hard to stop a habit of a lifetime.
But it’s the only way our fans will be heard by the Celtic Board.
Weejoe our Board also found out a couple of years ago how important our Ultras are, when we dropped 10 points in 10 league matches in their absence.

It is my belief that the board would do away with the ultras in a heartbeat and replace them from the waiting list.
If Celtic fans want real change one of the following needs to happen.
DD needs to change strategy OR fans must be prepared to give up season tickets they have held for 30 plus years.
From what I have read so far the collective need to focus on that well ahead of the renewal date for maximum impact.
Also you can be sure the board will go early with renewals next year with tight deadlines to try and control the process using fear of losing your seat as the ultimate leverage.
Big decisions loom for us fans.

Board's positive impact? Are you for real? These charlatans have held us back from progressing for years.
18 Oct 2025 06:06:38
I think sweeping comments like charlatans, holding back etc and the deep feeling by some for total regime change is decisive and unrealistic way of looking at things, there needs to be an acceptance of the money that has been invested over the years and the way the club as a business has been run (positively) but some refuse to see it, the fanbase isn’t on same wavelength especially as the ultras, strategy change is exactly and all that’s needed, club should involve br in process of new strategy for whatever manager is in place, move to a budget based strategy where football people make all decisions and are accountable, this could be a disaster as spending money and like across the city certain deemed football people might be clueless but at least accountable, no board change is required just process change.

No one is denying that the board have done lots of things right.
However, they are overly conservative and this is holding us back from reaching out full potential.
How many times do we need to crash out of the champions league because the board did not invest on time? This has cost us hundreds of millions in lost revenue.
Did the board do a good job when they hired the war monger John Reid or tried to hire Bernard Hopkins, who was responsible for criminalising hundreds of our fans.
The board had a perfect opportunity to modernise our stadium but failed to do so.
Why did the board think it was better to spend 12 million in tax rather than invest in our squad or infrastructure?
Why have the board failed to address our team and squad deficiencies repeatedly?
Why did the board resurrect Rangers and refuse to back resolution 12?
The board also banned our fans because of their support for Palestine. They made up lies about our fans to try and marginalise them.
They donate some of the fans donations to the poppy appeal every year despite many of us being diametrically opposed to it.

Again Joe, no one refutes there failings or what u say, but some definitely refute what they’ve done well, suppose it’s all pl aswell,
Held us back from what Joe -?
Considering players at our club and Scotland if decent last 12-18 months at best when they don’t back manager properly (something I think there guilty of) the worst theve done is stop maybe a few rounds in Europe,
So I’ve asked this several times, what’s your end game? What’s the plan, who’s the sugar daddy, I’m all ears but as yet I’ve not read on one fan site an actual plan of what they want, they just want to shout questions and protest if they don’t get the answer they like,
I’m firmly in camp of reform as I said in previous comment so it’s about football, board relinquishing football responsibilities to hires accountable football minded people, for all your ranting against the board I can’t figure out what u want, is it sack the board think about it later?

I want rid of the board and Desmond to change his strategy and be less conservative.
I want us to invest what we make rather than give it to the taxman.
I want us to push on when we are in a position of strength, rather than going backwards.
I want us to be prepared for champions league qualifiers every year so we have the best chance of qualification.
I want us to have a world class coaching, sports science, data analysis and scouting team.
I want a board that reflects the values of our fans.
I want better communication between the new board and fans.
I want us to be more forward thinking as we never seem to properly replace players when they are moved on.
I want a board that does not make up lies about our fans.

Comedy gold jaa 11, i fought to get the last board out for less.
