Is it plausible, br and club discuss future in summer with it likely br moves on, the subsequent outcome being br doesn’t get the players / funds/ control of transfers he wishes and club reluctant to bring anyone in the stats don’t back up or cl money doesn’t back up, outcome being late work and piss window all while br gaslights fans into frenzy, br now has to work with what he has while fans and club at loggerheads but most importantly fans pretty much in dark to full situation, club can’t divulge anything as br could walk and br if wins league will be real winner at end season off into sunset .

BR is pretty much irrelevant to the fans protest. This is about taking the club out of the dark ages and getting rid of the dinosaurs running the place. Anything less and we’ll continue pissing in the same puddle until we become irrelevant to anyone outside this country.

We are already irrelevant, we never will attract top talent, regardless of our board, we can endeavour only to spot and sign perhaps an up and coming talent, if all this is about being relevant outside this country then I’m worried, this question was completely hypothetical but br definitely has a lot to do with current situation, fans can blame the board solely for no cl but br is the reason we’re not there, and the subsequent lack of decent signings and attracting players we can only assume is reason why they didn’t arrive, if we made cl and if a few more faces arrived, it’s a fact our current topic of discussion would not be happening, it is happening so there’s no escaping the poor board performance regardless of br or cl, but let’s not think br is irrelevant in all this .

Jaa, did you not read the clubs statement, BR and his team identified players, we had a price we wanted to pay, when that was not enough, it went to rmthe board to vote on whether to up offers. They didn't.

This is down to the biard, you have made it clear you want BR gone but you cannot blame him for not getting the signings as much as you want to.

As for the teams current form, Michael Stewart pointed out that the players would have expected more players coming in, when they didn't, there would be disappointment.

Also he said that the ongoing fighting between board and BR and the fans and board would have an affect on the team, which eould explain the lack of confidence.

The Manager is trying to manage that and build confidence.

It is easy to throw all this on the Manager when your looking for reasons to blame him.

I did and like most I agree on how outdated and poorly the board has acted, I feel a bit of a realist in terms of where we are as a club, I feel there’s lots we as fans don’t know ( and probably shouldn’t know ) I feel br has definitely gaslighted fans into anger over signings that’s backfired and went too far (because he didn’t make cl) I feel he’s came out the farce a bit Scot free to be honest, there’s no doubt from the statement and statements since there’s issues in how we run, me however I’d like to see change in football side, a new structure and vision, happy for that to be alongside current board set up, but reform as such that’ works for the football, what some are demanding with no idea of what they want is my issue.

A new manager would be treated the same as all the other past managers under this board which is resourced to the level of ambition they have.

Which is one step ahead of Sevco and not a penny more.

Jaa, I agree, but we need a DOF to support the Manager. A total restructure of the football part of the club is also needed, where the Managers job is just to coach the players.

We keep hearing the arguement about the side to side football but how many times has BR come out and said he hasn't asked for that, what he has asked for is the ball to move forward far quicker.

It is clear it is the players who are to blame, which is probably down to a total lack of confidence, possibly being brought on by the circus going on between the club, fans and the media.

We currently have a Manager who is doing far more than he should be. His focus should only be on the players, not the board, the fans and answering media questions about anything other than the team.

People are quick to criticise him but forget it was his tactics that scared Bayern.

Had he got the support in the window he asked for, we could have performed well again in CL imo.

He said we needed to invest in better players to move forward but the board disagreed.

Give BR the tools he needs and he can improve the team and our standing in Europe.

I have heard about McKenna etc as replacements but realistically what have those others won that would improve us in CL over BR.

Imo we cannot go backwards in the quality and experience of our Manager if we want to improve the quality of the players.

Yes he is arrogant but what player or Manager aren't who are at the top of their profession.

Will we get them out? We don't have the shares. Whatever can do is not back down. Its the culture of our club at stake. If you aren't up for that fight, then I don't understand that.

Sometimes even when you know you will lose a fight, you still have to go ahead. This for me is one of those times. We can't change the board, what we can achieve, is how they operate. That won't be easy either, but by F, its worth fighting for.

{Ed007's Note - If you ever fancy coming on the pod mate just let me know ?

We have to grow our own top talent, not attract it, our youth system, our coaching system has to be looked at and improved, Brendan is not an elite coach, that much is obvious.
