Ken - every now and then we get a lad who seems very promising. I recall back when we had a conveyer belt of talent all Scottish. I like this boy and hope he turns out top drawer.

Does anyone remember Paul Caddis? He looked a brilliant prospect. Had a great game against Barcelona if I'm correct. I think he was back up RB when we had Hinkel and Mark Wilson (both of whom I loved) - but what happened to him?

We never get a chance to see the conveyor belt these days, the only time we see a promising youngster, is when someone is injured, others are ignored because foreign players are deemed better, and promising youngsters, who might have turned out to be great players have there development stunted and their confidence depleted by being constantly ignored and passed aside by incompetent managers and coaches.

He ended up a legend for Birmingham.
Birmingham always struggled in the Championship when Caddis played there.
Caddis scored one of the most crucial goals in their history which prevented relegation to League One.
