Hi all hope you are well.

I honestly think DD is not the problem. As I posted before, he oversees many business and investments, and has employees and boards in place to run those organisations. He definitely isn't running us day to day.

Where I criticise him is with allowing a poor performing board to continue. At our AGM they should be replaced.

I'm gutted about the hotel, museum and madness about not upgrading the stadium. I think these should be priority. For almost 30 years we have been promised more facilities outside the stadium or in the stadium on match days, particularly for fans travelling huge distances from England, Ireland and Highlands/ islands etc I don't think this board has ever been mindful of the fans at all, and we are taken for granted.

I'd like to see a DOF
A director of fans affairs appointed by supporters
Obligation to improve all facilities for fans at and within the stadium
Commitment to previous plans for a hotel and museum
Increase stadium capacity to end the lock out for some fans awaiting season books. Even a tier on top of south west corner
More community outreach and support for people particularly around mental health
Upgrade of youth set up and mental health of players

I think now is the time for DD to give more control to his Son.
DD has failed to attend the last 18 Celtic AGM’s and that itself tells it’s own story.

For me; Dermott Desmond appears as often as an eclipse. Usually when we are in a crisis and a change of manager is imminent.
The Board are far too detached and even sometimes antagonistic towards the support; willing to oppose them at every opportunity (banners, flags, pyros and police victimization) .
There is no doubt they handle the financial affairs expertly and usually in their own interests. However, in comparison to other very well run football clubs, there is no empathy or bond with supporters. The term Celtic family is often quoted, but very misused in cases.

All previous managers have categorically stated that Desmond is heavily involved in the running of Celtic.
