If man city boy is a loan with no to buy clause and I was a youth player I'd immediately put in transfer request as imo it would show management couldn't care less about our own youths development.

Bottom line is Simpson-Pusey is miles better than Welsh or Murray who are nowhere near good enough to be relied on, if the board won’t spend the money for the quality Brendan wants then he has to rely on loan deals, the last 19 year old centre back we signed on loan from City wasn’t too shabby Jason Denayer, Brendan will do what he can to make the team better and obviously thinks this lad will do that so let’s trust his judgement .

How many of his 6 senior appearances did you watch to decide he was better than what we have? It is an embarrassing signing whether he is good enough or not.

I thing that it might be a foolish move by the vast majority of our youngsters as it is clear that they would be doing Celtic a good turn looking for a transfer .
Getting a top class Man City for a year should be welcomed by fans who seek a better Celtic team.

Don't claim to have seen him play for City in CL but I know his only start was a 4-1 defeat to Sporting Lisbon, he was dropped for next CL game against Feyenoord but came on with 22 mins to go while City 3 up, game ended 3 each ?.

Wait a minute, the lad has not justified anything to deserve to be at celtic, Murray and Welsh both have! If by signing a youth player on loan, that isn't a guaranteed first 11 player then its pointless, and disrespectful to our own youth players!
And if its a BR nod then the guy is more arrogant and obnoxious than I first thought!
If we are to loan a player, who i might add hasn't got a buy option, then it should be an established player, who seriously has a valid right to take one of our players positions, but no soft approach, another number in, pathetic piece of business.

Years Welsh has been at Celtic and folk are arguing he's not had a chance. Do folk watch Celtic the boy is brutal. Thankfully he will be away soon enough.
