Centre-back options,
1 - Clark, Connolly, Stanton, Elliot, Reiper all technical type, first 3 could be described as converted midfielders.
2- Shuggie, Munro, Garner, BoBo entirely different style.
3 - Big Roy probably could apply to both styles (superb player) .
What do the fans feel is best type considering we dominate 80% of games in domestic schedule and an entirely different game on the European front.
This is Brendon Rodgers big challenge in my opinion.

Someone who has belief and confidence in his own ability and the abilty of others. Someone who we coulod buy for next to he--haw and who is near enough the finished article. Probably someone who is experienced and not getting a game for his club.
Got to remember we are in a 2nd or 3rd tier league and the only reason players want to come to PH is playing in front of an electric atmosphere and Europe.

At our level buzz your really just looking for a reliable type who doesn't do mistakes. Can play a decent pass without being pirlo.
Reiper or Elliott type for me.

Love the comment regarding Stanton to big Roddy, we swapped Jackie Mac, s dad for Stanton and I thought Jackie Snr was under-rated at Parkhead, Stanton experience was required at that time. Mally your thought sounds sublime.

I can't believe BR came back to win domestic trophies, got the t-shirt already. I honestly believe he was given assurances he would be backed to improve his European record.
Whether or not he has been somewhat let down in this area since his return is debatable, however, I do think the transfer activity in this window will have a huge sway on whether or not he extends his stay.
Unless serious money, (£15-25m) is spent on 3 or 4 quality signings, I think he will be away. If he does go, I'd take big Ange back, at least we know we would be watching some exciting football.
