How come the palace keeper wasn't sent off, he handled the ball outside the box, right in the middle of the field, these rules are stupid now, surely anytime a keeper handles outside the box it's a red card? Not a city fan by any means, but can't understand the rules. Saying he wasn't in a clear scoring opportunity? He was right in middle of goal!

I only seen stills from it and from that it looks like a stone wall red card. But like you say probably some new ridiculous rule change.
Great to see that city outfit beat though.

Apparently the VAR explanation was the ball was travelling away from goal ( aye because the GK palmed it away from goal?) astonishing! Same as the Sevco goal, how VAR can't see that is over the line is beyond me. Makes me laugh that John Brown says Scottish football is corrupt, their old club was corrupt for years.

Was it to do with the fact that, he got his feet inside the box?
I don’t think there’s 1 Palace fan that could argue why he was not sent off - totally bizzare.

Another thing I hate about VAR is the multiple variations and 'excuses' that occur after the fact to complicate and confuse us.

Maybe var controlled by AI is the answer?

Celtic mad . I agree fully, probably the reason it often takes 2-3 mins for VAR to decide is var operators are deciding what variations and complications they create so that the can use VAR to confirm outcome they require.
