It seems we shouldn’t sign him because he comes from an unfashionable source, from the league of Ireland . I am sure if he is good enough he will be in the first team squad if signed. . Bargain basement, is that because he is from League of Ireland and not the player.

I must say I was very disappointed with Celtic only scoring 2 goals today after a very enjoyable run of us scoring 4 goals . 4 goals were definitely on today if team hadn’t eased up and adopted a more lackadaisical approach from after 50 mins .
Nevertheless despite allowing Hibs a bit of procession, they only really looked dangerous when CCV was for once hustled off the ball and Hibs struck crossbar.

It’s not unusual for even top teams who regularly spend massive money every transfer window to have to improvise. That’s exactly what BR will have to do . BR doesn’t seem to be over concern about the speed of new recruits, he still want to get the right players in rather than sign any player for the sake of signing a player.

We will doubtlessly replace MO’R if he goes, by a player who will for at least a season or two be vastly Inferior to MO’R .
It is also unlikely That we sign a player who will ever have the skills, positional play and work rate of Matt . New player will hopefully bring new skills to team.

I think that everyone accepts there won’t be many early signings, which may be no bad thing as the form of some of our pla in USA and SPL opener might have caused BR to be surprised and switch the emphasis to other positions.
